My intake ripped so they needed to be replaced. The POS worm clamps tore the rubber along with the gorilla that doesnt know what tight is (me).
Mine were still clean otherwise. |

I too paid the $140 for the BMS dci. I looked at Vishnu dci as well. I knew that both product where overpriced knowing that I can do what clap135 has mentioned. But at the end, I gave my business to BMS because of their support on this board. Same thing with Vishnu meth kit, not that I couldn't pay less than $900 for a mth kit to do the same thing, but for the prior support they have given me. If is not for people like me to give them business, they wouldn't be here helping us out with our tune related problems. Sometimes though, my questions goes unanswered which is another question altogether.

The guy is just trying to help. If you feel this is beneath you, dont look here. Yeah, they only get back if it serves their purpose.

If you complain about $30 or so, wait until you dine out at nice (not super nice) restaurants. You can go to Costco get the ingredients, then cook it yourself for a saving of $30 per person per dining that will make this CAI saving like pocket change. |

its not 30 dollars, its more like 70 dollars. Like I said, if you have no use for this, then why post? |

With that title you asked for attention now you got it and don't like it, tough luck. Post in in "DIY guide" if you want to feel usefull. I replaced my brakes (instead going to dealer) for close to $700 saving and I don't start a thread saying "getting rip off" by dealer. |

Actually you got ripped off if you still have warranty cause brakes are included. If you don't have warranty and you paid the dealer 700 dollars, you would be ripped off....the name stealership is for a reason. |

Brakes are free from the dealer idiot, its called Maint' program. PLus dealer cost include LABOR, what part of labor involves shipping out intakes? Like I said your post are useless as well as your analogies. Moreover, this forum is far from open..... you know how many threads get deleted a day if you mention the wrong company? |

Wow. Where did that come from. I think my customer service is top notch and a lot of times i go out of my way to help customers and even help people who haven't bought anything from me or bought stuff i sell used. Look at my trader feedback. Clearly lots of games being played.

Does anyone know if you can turn the BMS SCI intake into a DCI. IOW, can i buy the dual cone filters alone and use the couplers from the SCI kit?
