Any other nifty little items for car without nav & folding mirrors available?

You don't need the comfort access option installed to have them coded

The front Euro blinkers maybe?

It doesn't make a difference if your CIC was retrofitted or was part of your original Vehicle Order.
In fact you don't need the CIC at all if you want to do the remote mirrors and the Euro blinkers. The CIC is needed only for the DVD in motion.
I can also code your CIC for the Euro radio frequencies if you are based in Germany.
I AM based in Germany. That would be outstanding. I also have comfort access so the blinker coding should be good as well, correct? Can you PM me a price for the coding?

Thanks!

Coding

Patrys, this is great!!

I am very interested in the coding. I have a 2010 e92 M3 with CiC already. Does the coding require me to pull my CiC, or is this done through the USB port or something like that??

You don't need to pull out your CIC. I will ship my interface to you which you just connect to your car and your laptop.
I will do the rest over the Internet

Can you code the angel eyes to turn on when you unlock/lock on the older E90? The newer ones turn on when lock/unlock.

It's a lot easier to retrofit a car with idrive.

Indeed, but if there was a car that had everything you want except the Navigation then I would buy it and do this retrofit.
The hardest part is to change the dashboardm but Rich (srcstc) can confirm it can be done

Just like to say a big thanks to Patryk (Patrys) for coding my folding mirrors,
They now fold in when i press the lock button and open when unlock with the key fob

Highly recommended

This is excellent news. I am always up for this kind of challenge. CCC -> CIC.

Since programming the car is now a possibility, would adding Comfort Access into a E90 without it be possible? I understand that new Comfort Access control modules would need to be procured and installed, together with the antennas, but just wondering whether would it be possible?

I guess the keyfob would also need to be replaced.....

How will this work when we want to update new maps for the Navi?

I added door handle LED light onto my car, so I have experience with removing the door trim and have all the tools and have gone beyond the fear of removing door trims

And it will only be the front door handles that needs to be changed.

So if comfort access can be programmed in, and $$ is not too high. I might attempt it

But with BMW, it is always about the programming which poses the greatest challenge!

By the way, once the remote folding mirror function has been coded in. Can it be turn on/off from the iDrive?

If you install all parts I can do the coding for you and yes the keyfob has to be changed as well...

My retrofit kit is based exclusively on the OEM parts, so if you want to update your map you just buy a new map from your dealership along with the FSC code and you do it yourself.

You can't deactivate the remote folding mirrors from the iDrive, but if you don't want to use it you just don't use it
In order to fold the mirrors you have to press and hold the lock button on your remote for around 2 sec, so if you don't want to fold your mirrors don't hold the lock button
