C'mon, that was uncalled for. Forza is a good guy. He is local to us, and by no means a fan boi..... And that is coming from a BMS/cp-e dealer.

Wow thread derail. I love how some people decide not to buy a product because they do not like the "owner's" attitude/view point. You do realize if you follow this logic with everything you buy, you would most likely not buy any product as the ceo's of major corporations are usually complete dicks. Now I am not saying anything bad about Terry or Shiv here as they are both great guys in my eyes, just pointing out an observation. Now I have always suggested people try out both tunes and see which one suits your needs best and I believe everyone should do this. If you say you can't afford to let go of 700 for a month then you shouldn't have a tune in the first place as you would not be able to fix the car if something went wrong. Also back on topic yes I have noticed the increase time you need to spend with the jb3 and less time with the procede. But the jb3 is still a plug in and walk away tune if you are not looking for max performance.

Competition (in any business) strives the business to do better, but it seems that some customers (not all) take a blind approach to whichever tune they choose. Once they have taken Tune X or Tune Y, or Tune Z, they become blind to any thing else, and attempt to make those who didn't choose their way, feel like crap or lower than dirt, take your pick.
I've seen it from both sides, and I like many others have said that you have to make a choice that suits you, be damned what any of the 'blind' users say... IF spending a $1000 on a tune doesn't suit you, that's fine, you have to do what financial sound for you, not everyone else's pocket. If the 400-600 tune does it for you, that's the right choice for you, and no one else. I may not have the most knowledge when it comes to the internal workings of the tunes, but what does it matter how it does it, as long as it does what's advertised, that's all that matters in the end. YOU (the consumer) has to decide what type of risk your willing to assume in purchasing something like this, and if they (the tuners) provide great customer support, it doesn't matter what anyone on this or any forum thinks... Sorry if it seems like I'm venting, but some people on here, and the other forums need to grow up and stop bickering like children.

If the Proceed video was better, I'd have already tried one. I watched both videos before I made my purchase and decided on the JB3 because it looked easier. Now that I go back and look at the Proceed video every so often, I still feel like it's missing something toward the end. Right before you hook up the power wire/ground or whatever - there's something else unique that you must do (not on the JB3) and there's like no view of what the installer is doing. I'll wait until the next video to buy mine...

Like everyone has said here, competition is good. I like to see what's on the other side of the fence, since I'm all for the best tune, not which company it is. When I talk fanboy, I'm talking about people that are just "LOL PROCEDE SUCKS!!" or some random joke about something Shiv has said. Every forum is going to have their fanboy's, but most of the comparison threads I found on here were pretty consistent, and they tried out BOTH tunes .

ridin135 - since you're the only who has commented on the original topic. I agree with what you said about JB3 ... I'm interested in what you think about Procede now.
