They will start trickling out by the end of this month at the rate of 10 per week. First to existing Xede users who need to get updated. Then to everyone else. We'll increase the rate once we're sure that support from our end isn't limited. Right now, we're just waiting on user software right now so you guys can monitor and log things like boost, rpm, timing, vehicle speed, etc,. Without it, I can see mis-install troubleshooting being really time-consuming. That's our first concern since we don't want to see the release marred by customer support issues.

Oh, it's long. The rate at which we'll ship out the units is directly related to the amount of after-support the first 20 or so folks will need. So if there is any incentive for us to make good instructions and for people to actually follow them carefully, this is it!

It's going to be more difficult and time consuming for the beta testers because they would have to uninstall the old hardware and install the new ones so there may be some delay.

I would think this will actually be a bit easier, since we've seen (and many have done it themselves with a little help from Shiv) the Xede installed before. Now, we know where all the wires go.

Production Xede does not utilize solenoids and therefore does not require tapping into the vacuum hoses.

Are you still on track to begin shipping out the final version Xede units (upgrades for us beta testers) with DIY instructions next week? Thanks.
