If you look at the ship's schedule, it now reads...
Port Country Arrival Departure NEW YORK, NY U.S.A. 23/01/2007 23/01/2007 BALTIMORE, MD U.S.A. 24/01/2007 25/01/2007 CHARLESTON,SC U.S.A. 27/01/2007 28/01/2007 BRUNSWICK, GA U.S.A. 29/01/2007 29/01/2007 On the first page, someone posted the schedule where it shows the arrival in NY as the 22nd. The rest of the dates seem to have remained the same though. |

Hopefully today's the day our cars get unloaded. Does anybody know how quick the VPC usually turn around cars to the dealers? I'm hoping I can pick up my car on Saturday, but I think it's a long shot.

Thanks fellas. Hopefully I'll pick up my car early next week then. It would have been nice to pick up on Saturday, I wanted to enjoy the car before I had to take it on work commute.

I don't think they get unloaded until they arrive in Charleston. Not NY. |

Contradict yourself much? Anyways, if you track the cargo, it says it's headed for Charleston. That also happens to be where BMW has it's US manufacturing plant. Quote:
Edit - OK, I just had a brain fart. The VPC is in Jersey. YES Don't understand why it lists the port of destination as Charleston on the tracking site, though. Whatever. |

Charleston may or may not be closer, but the sooner it got off the boat, the better. It'll get here faster on a truck than staying on the boat and being at sea another 5 days.
Oh, well. Seems like I'm screwed with having to wait for it to get unloaded in SC. |
