Just talked about you today with Jeff, glad to see the East Coasters have an option. We had a visit today to finalize everything and fully integrate with the V4 and hooked up all the fail-safes. The Aquamist works perfectly now with the V4 and I will write a review + post some datalogs in the next few days. All I can say is WOW! I had a chance to run the car at Infineon last weekend and it pulled hard all day long with no heatsoak whatsoever.

**Jeff still needs to test fit a new pump bracket (so it can fit infront of the driver side wheel well) if anyone in the NorCal area is interested.

This system seems promising but does it have a failsafe for those who run flash tunes? I know you're V4 autotuned but you also mentioned that its wired directly to the ECU?
Yes the Aquamist system itself has 3 fail safes which well work even with a bone stock car (don't quote me but I think you will need to tap into the WDC wire). The PROcede is just convienent for guys who have the hookup for the progressive map switching and it adds another layer of safety.

hey man, your info is off. just because 99% use it doesnt make it the best option. Hell a lot of people run the JB3 but we all know its not the best option, just the cheapest.

Injector duty cycle is the way to go. I can build a good bit of boost w/ out changing the throttle position, so w a boost based system you are not flowing meth based on what the engine really needs. Why wouldn't you want flow in direct proportion to fuel as the ECU determines based on dozens of variables?

There is no doubt the standard boost or rpm based systems work, they just aren't optimal.

^ This man knows what he is talking about. Boost based systems do not have linear flow, it basically comes on then plateaus. Now that my car is test fitted and runs PERFECTLY you guys now have another option.

I am sure its a good system like I said, no one is knocking it but maybe for your specific application on your car its the choice to use the injector duty cycle, but I am just going based upon Shiv and what he is using and I would think about 99% of the people are using a boost based system..I am sure if it was the better way, he would have gone that route as you know Shiv doesn't like to skimp out without determining the best method for his tune...

Curious how and where you tapped into the ECU box coming from the front of the car. Also are you using the ECU cooling fan outlet coming from the glove box? Looks like your wiring is fairly thick bundle. thanks

Great install. Aquamist makes great products which is why I added to the line up. Best parts available IMO.

Thanks for the old thread bump. Been installed/using it for over a year....I never have had an issue with the system.

Sorry, I never got around to making the DIY or posting logs....guess I got some work to do this weekend.

When I did the install, I flushed it out after drilling a hole in the bottom. Nothing dirty or nasty came out, but it was a precausion incase. I also ran a lot of water though the entire system and let the nozzel spray into a white bucket to ensure all the lines were clear too, again nothing came out.

Thanks, I was going to pull the tank, but for now I'll just flush it out with water real good.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm very happy how it came out and has performed. A lot of the install was Jeff Howerton's work, so I have to give him most of the credit.

I've made a few changes since the initial install. Added a 2nd 1.0mm jet and moved both jets closer to the FMIC vs. near the BOV.

I am curious to see your logs. I have the exact same set-up and can't seem to get it to work well. Two shops have looked at it now with no luck. If anyone knows of a place that could dial in set-up in Colorado please let me know.

What's not working well, could you elaborate? I'm assuming you are having issues with adjusting the Thres/Gain? Your best bet is to contact Jeff Howerton and explain your situation, I can't help very much because I don't know specifics.

I have talked to Jeff many many times. GREAT guy. Dialing in adjustments is big portion of issue. Changing from 5V to 2.5V was another "fun" learning experience. I'm not savvy enough to test circuitry on board nor is this easy to do on the road safely. I think renting an all wheel drive Dyno for two days is probably the next step. The Procede Meth lights recently come on and then stay on for awhile. Not sure why... That's the reader's digest version.
