So. Is there any truth to the theory that touching the door handle with CA involves an instantaneous DNA test?

Angel eyes

Can you tell me how or where to find out how to have the angel eyes on during the day without having running lights on. Have set the day time running lights to be on but it is not the angel eyes.

Thanks

OK, this thread was done before, but here you go...

The owners manual says to never lock someone inside the car using the fob (while you are outside of the car) because then they can't get out.

Not true. If you push the unlock button on the dash twice, you can then pull the inside handle and open the door.

throw your keys into the trunk then close it, it will magically open again. Safety feature that makes it impossible to lock your keys in the trunk.

I don't have an E91, but that's still a pretty smart feature.

Ok, follow these steps. Go to your car, get inside, close all doors. Start the car, engine.. everything. Then, press the stop button, and take out the key fob normally dont open any doors, then right away, start the car, without the key fob. It should work.

It's not this one that I originally posted. What I meant was, get inside the car, close all doors, press the lock button on your key fob, then move the key fob close to the ignition slot (don't insert it). The car would automatically open the driver's door, just like when you press the Open button on your key fob.

My favorite surprise was that PDC gave the cool display in iDrive when reversing. I bet it was somewhere in the options lit, but I missed it and it really made me like rear PDC. I thought it was a silly option, despite being pretty inexpensive, but the rear 'radar' display rocks. I'm a good parallell parker and don't need it at all, but I dig the display when reversing out of tech-fetish. I wish all of the careless a$$holes that have backed into my cars over the years had it. Three new hoods in five years on my last car due to back-up dammage where the hood curves down to the kidneys!

Next cool feature was the auto-drying brakes when I left a car wash... awesome little detail.

Found this out the other day in my manual 330i: If you resume cruise control at too slow of an engine speed, a nifty diagram appears between the speedo and tach telling you to downshift.
