They built my car pretty quickly. I ordered it during the last week of December and it was in transit somewhere around 1/12 - 1/16/07. I couldn't figure out which ship it is on, but my CA said it should be in port today.

I'm looking forward to the toys in it but not too psyched to give up my e46 m3. The time has come though. It comes off warranty in April, needs 4 new tires, has 2,500 miles until level 1 maintenance, probably needs new brakes and the clutch has never been replaced. The cost of all of this is about what it costs to lease the 335 for the entire year. I guess I'll ride it out for 3 years and get the e92 m3 after the kinks have been worked out.

Looking forward to the increase in hp from my 330. I almost got an E46 M3, but didn't like SMG for daily driving. The 335 should have ample power.
Also looking forward to Sport Pkg; not sure why I didn't get it on my current car. I'm looking forward to higher speeds on my exit ramp, where you get a little dizzy. My fantasy is to pass some minivan on the cloverleaf, but I probably won't be that much of an a-hole.
Finally, comfort access; not having to use the key.
I already have bluetooth and PDC.
Nav will be fun, but not crucial. Hardly ever use it on our Cayenne.

10 days til production starts.

Ordered my e92 beginning of Jan, and still no production number....It seems that a few of you here that have also ordered in early January are getting the numbers now. Gonna give them a shout this morning and there better be a production number waiting for me! If I get bumped, im going POSTAL

I ordered on 1/3/07 and still no production # either.

Is it true that the allocations for March production for E92 is out already? My dealer hasn't called!!!

I'm doing almost the exact same thing as you - except my m3 is slightly older. I've already gone thru my first set of tires and had the insp I done. I'm selling it to trade "up" to the 335 via lease and looking forward to the e92 M3 in 2010 after they've worked out all the bugs, like the exploding engines, etc..

I never did figure out which ship my car was on, but my CA told me it's at the VPC in Spartansburg and should be at the dealer on Saturday or before. Anyone with an E46 M3 regret giving it up for an E90 335? As I said in an earlier post, I'm not looking forward to giving up the M3.

I'm looking forward to everything! It'll be nice to have a truly great handling car. I have a non-sport E46 330xi. It drives well, but it could be better. I'm solving that with a RWD sport package 335i! I'm looking forward to the toys, too. Nav will be fun. Had it in my X5. The comfort access will be fun too.
I have a production number, but I'm still in the order bank.. :-\

Well I'll let you know how it works out. I'm doing the trade tomorrow evening. I'm going to miss the 8000 rpm redline and the super stiff steering and handling, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I had the E46 323I fully loaded including nav. This time I got the 328xi but bone stock. Let's see if I will miss any of the options I had before. Looking forward to AWD so I can drive in winter and no more swapping for winter tires in the winter. That was a pain. Looking forward to additional features like ambience lights and overall improvements. I also like that I can play the ipod via auxiliary input. No more ugly looking FM transmitter. I'm looking forward for the manual tranny since I only had the auto before. But most of all, I love the design of E92. I always wished that my E46 was a coupe because I think coupes look much better!

Well I no longer belong to this thread. My E90 335 sedan showed up yesterday. I love working for the dealer in the fact that I watched it come off the truck, I drove it into the shop. Helped it get PDI'd. Helped detail it, and drive home. This car is out of this world and it still hasnt kicked in yet that its mine. I ordered almost every option including sirius, idrive, active steering, pdc, premium, cold weather, sport. I opted out of the auto, active cruise and the sunshades... Fantastic drive

(am i talking about you not coming back because your having to much fun, or because i have stuffed you in a burlap sack, tossed you in the river, and stolen your car: who knows )
