Your words of wisdom can be said the same for all the Jb3 users that still have cars with no problems

I'd like to just drop the subject and get back on topic, if we could to keep things on a friendly level.
While I understand your dislike for what happened to you, why didnt you return the unit and get another one? Dan seems to be rather easy going and I am sure he would have sent you another one being that it was defective...

As for my words of wisdom, it has no correlation to JB3...I am specifically speaking of the lebonte unit...nice try...

Went for a ride, barely hitting 7 according to the procede. I got a feeling im going to be getting that 5.0 sooner than I though. This car is nothing but problems.

Have you attempted a reload of the procede firmware and map perhaps? I know its a long shot, but might be worth it.

I did mention that to him on the side... not sure if it was done or not.

Uploading the firmware with the maps again with the laptop plugged into the wall outlet is sometimes really helpful.

put the pump up to 250 psi, getting anywhere between 15-17 now through a check valve. Now let's see if it stays that way.

That would be the next best thing before clap starts flipping the bird. I can understand the frustration he is going through. I would also offer it for him to test but my safeinjection location is not easily accessible as it's underneath the car

Well replaced the entire meth line, still shit flow, however the 0-1 thing seems to have gone away. How that is possible is beyond me. Next, firmware chage

pinhole leak in the line maybe? Check the amount of flow from the tank to the pump that was where I had my problem.

Well, same crap. I rulled out the procede 100 percent by following Shivs directions.
I took pin 10 (map sensor) stripped the insulation, and connected the procede meth input to it. debug byte 7 read 39 which is roughly 2 volts which is EXACTLY where it should be. My replacement labonte flow sense is shot, or wasnt fixed right. Saturday wasted.

Figured it out.

Picture a floating wheel with fins, that wheel spins based on flow. My wheel doesnt spin, but flow still goes around the wheel. I never bothered checking the unit for clogs due to the fact that I was getting my desired flow based on flow cup readings. Lobonte will replace the unit with no problem. Problem solved. Its always STUPID shit that goes wrong. Hopefully this thread will help someone in the future. Case closed.

Glad to hear you figured out the cause of your issues. Any idea how it got damaged?

Mine recently started playing up. Debug 7 has gone from just over 12 to 10. I had to drop my user settings to 9.9 so meth map would transition and the meth dash lights would stay on.

I checked the nozzle and flow and everything seems fine.... not sure what to make of it now?? Can the failsafe be opened so I can inspect the wheel?

nope, its incased in molded plastic. I've had 3 fail, there appears to be a problem with these. I am pretty much waiting till firday for an answer or a working unit, then requesting my money back. Its been MONTHS since I had a working failsafe.

Thanks mate. Thank god for autotune if the meth flow is indeed restricted, but I am 99% sure it's just the Labonte unit crapping out. My car is still autotuning to 17-18psi.

On that note, my labonte never saw 13-15 on debug 7. The unit output seems pretty inconsistent amongst users around here. I suppose a spinning wheel design is a little basic for any precise reading.
