Thanks bro, I will let you know if I have any questions about the cutting. Was the video pretty self explanitory or did it come with intructions? I will post some pics when I get it, I dont think have even seen the black anodized one yet.

Video was okay but when it came to the trimming it wasnt really precise and it told you to trim and try to fit which I skipped that step and used a 7 inch strip of wood and use that as a guide checking the clearance with that strip everytime I dremeled an inch off the plastic shroud to see how much I had to trim away from the top of the shroud which that clearance was from the shroud to the side of the radiator..As soon as my measuring strip was 7 inches from top to bottom, the intercooler pop into place on the first try with almost no room at all...basically perfect fit!

Awesome, I cant wait to throw it in, shipping says it should be here by friday but I have a really busy weekend so I doubt it will go in this weekend. I would refer to your post for the trimming, Im subscirbed....In that post I read you where stage 4+. if you dont mind can you pm a list of your mods. I would like to compare bc I have recently ordered about $7k in parts and I am wondering what the next step is. I will send you a list of my current mods and the ones that are in the mail. Thanks again.

Lol. At the time when I installed the HPF intercooler, Procede did not have autotune yet and there were maps that were labeled stage 4 maps which was for anyone using methanol injection. There were only a handful of people running meth so Shiv made special maps labeled stage 4+!!! Today it would be described as full stage 3 with meth! This is every possible bolt on with meth. I have ur intake with their catback exhaust, forge dv, Ar catless dp, procede v4, hpf intercooler, lebonte progressive meth kit, rr oil cc, NX express No2.

haha damn ur running nitrous. thats sick. Here's what I have so far....Afe dci, aa bov, aa exhaust, ar downpipes are going in tomorrow, (was running jb3 but did a lot of reading and decided to go procede, im currently awaiting shipment). In the mail is vishnu procede and vishnu dci, hpf fmic, ar oil cooler, ar oil catch can. I just got my VMR vb3's put on last week with some sticky non-rft ps2's 8.5 front's 9.5 rear.(probably one the best upgrades so far). Only thing that I need now is meth...and this coming spring Im going either AR single turbo upgrade or HPF single turbo upgrade. Do you have any drive line upgrades? LSD? clutch? lwfw? ssk? I think those are my next up on the list.

Next in line just in the future for me is either the epl or helix turbo upgrade. I will not do the single turbo upgrade because I don't want to sacrifice down low torque for top end power. I love the low end torque. As for LSD I don't plan on that. You will be surprised the power difference and drivability once you have the Procede installed. I kid you not my friend! As for the meth you should make that move as soon as possible because the way procede integrates it into the tune will transform your car from crazy fast to scary fast!

BTW...thats some nice things that you have coming to your house...Next is installing them all!

I kinda agree with you on the low end torque, 1st gear feels the same as 4th which I LOVE. I am strongly considering the Helix upgrade just waiting for some results...I have been talking to Alex quite a bit about them. As far as the meth goes, I was told that I will without a doubt loose my warranty if I run meth which I would like to keep more than 20k miles lol; I bought it with 25k miles and now have 39k. I want to at least get 50k....but im sure somehow I will say fuck the warranty and get a good meth kit. I really just want to have the most fun while still being safe which is why i ordered the second oil cooler and I am lookin hard at the AR aluminium radiator. Yeah I really cant wait to feel everything come together when I add the Procede to the mix.

The N54 does not use a mass air flow sensor, so a BOV has no negative effects. I have been running a Tial BOV for a long time, as have many customers (Tial, HKS, AA, etc) , with zero issues.

Vishnu page 335i frequently asked questions

Q: I am very interested on installing a BOV (Blow-off Valve), is that going to be a problem?
A: It is best for one to resist the temptation of installing an aftermarket BOV as our cars were not designed to release excess boost pressure into the atmosphere. Doing so will effect the PROcede’s tuning and cause the car to run poorly. The car was designed to recirculate that excess air back into the intake system. Bleeding off the air that was accounted for by the MAF sensor will confuse everything.

I know. I asked that question years ago before I bought my PROcede. It's not true though.

I didnt know it was on the website, but I think shiv has the capability to handle BOV's and DV's as well. I will shoot him and email and confirm this.

That's over 2 yrs old. Procede has come a long way since then.

Yes, they are just stronger, they are just able to hold higher boost levels. The more the boost the stronger and the bigger spring that is used in the upgraded dv. Also an upgraded charge pipe goes along with this upgrade, STETT is probably the most widely used charge pipe with the upgraded dv's. Forge DV's is the brand name most widely used.
