Anyway to track vehicule once on the CN ?

Guys got the car today.
All i have to say is OH MY GOD!!!!!!!
WOW!!!
It's unreal.
Anyways I installed my M-Tech steering wheel and the Angel Eyes and Fogs today.
Tuesday morning tints , Ipod Most Adapter and Oem short Shifter are coming on.
I will post a nice writeup and a Million pictures on Tueday night.
It's been snowing in Montreal and it's very very slushy so i haven't really driven it well yet. But i'm sure i'll be able to get some speed out of her before Tuesday.
But one thing i have to say is just Wow. For now...

Hey guys ,
New to the forums and waiting for the car and can't wait to get it.

I have a quick question, So I tracked my car and it says Halifax -Discharged on feb 8.
So does this mean that is in halifax,checked by customs and off the boat ready to ship out to edmonton?? If so it should be here in about 1-2 weeks ready for delivery

wrx..I will be watching you progress.since i will be recieving my car in april in edmonton also, I am alos wondering how long it will take to cross the country.

Cool, I just want my CAR

, first BMW, already have the mtec rings and fog lights ordered, the ashtray delete (sunglasses) and going to order the short shifter asap. I should be getting my M5 replicas on tuesday for my winter set up..

Hey WRX, yeah that sounds about right. 2-3 weeks from Halifax to Edmonton.

I believe there is a way to track it with CN also, but its a PITA to do so. Not only that , I think I saw somewhere that CN workers are on strike! I hope to hell this doesn't affect the arrival of your car.

Wrx...where are you getting your short shifter from? Edmonton BMW or Bavaria? I need to order one also so they can throw it on when it gets here..Are you going with M shifter?

Hey, I checked today for the ss and it is something like $187, I asked for the ss for the 335i so if it is the m3 one I have no idea. I also ordered the sunglasses hold to replace my ashtray. $45.00. I went through edmonton BMW since that's where I bought my car.

Sounds good, thats where i got mine from, keep me updated on your progress..your wait is almost over..
I checked there about the OEM Front lip..$450..and there getting back to me for the cost of installation..

Congrats youyou. Can't wait for the pics.

Regarding the strike, it looks like they may still operate as normal by having management fill the duties of works on strike. I hope the shippments are not effected as i am suppose to get my car this Mon. The car is set to arrive in Toronto tomorrow (Sun), I called on Friday and they said it was in Quebec.

328xi was built Jan 15-16, My salesman said it was on the boat Jan 19. As of Feb7 it was in Halifax. Will arrive in Montreal sometime next week. Will pick it up Feb 19-23.. I ordered it Oct 31. I could have taken delivery in January but I was able to shave 1000 in payments by taking delivery in Feb....Its been a mighty long wait but good things come to people who are patient...

Mine was discharged from the boat on the 8th of feb, so good chance mine is going to be on the same train as yours..

I spoke with my salesman and told him about the CN situation. He checked into it and called me back with " this has happened before and worst case scenario it will be brought here by truck". That's cool but there better not be any damage being trucked across canada.

but seriously I read an article saying that the strike hasn't effected transport that much at the moment. Maybe it will be enough time to get mine and everybody else's car that is sitting in Halifax. paragraph 8
