+1. I drive a Toyota Pickup as my get around vehicle, and traded my 335 in to get an old school 535 project to turbo the snot out of. But that means I made smart choice

means you're not worrying about the HPFP every time you press the start button

i think most people confuse unnecessarily aggressive drivers and show-offs with "challengers".

just because some guy floors it from a stop light to get in front of you doesn't mean he wants to race... same deal with the idiot who tries to accelerate past you on the highway

Brooklyn sucks for driving. Damn dollar vans everywhere, cabs stopping in the middle of the street, and forget about seeing a turn signal. I don't know how many times I wanted to pull up to someone at a light and break off their indicator stalk because they wouldn't miss it and it would make me feel better.
/end rant/
That being said, I don't want to pay my 500 bucks to the insurance and have my premium raised, so I don't drive aggressively. Unless someone is driving really terribly I just wait my turn to get around them.

U drive a nice car, I bet you would hate for something to go wrong and u end up smashing ur shit or one of those DBags to hit into u because u never know how good or bad the other person drives.

When somebody tailgates me, I move over, let them pass, and I'll go back to my lane. When somebody wants to cut me off, I'll just let them go ahead by slowing down, or if at a light just let them go.

It's just not worth the aggravation to me OR if my $50k car that has about $8k invested in mods, get hit.

And the fact that my fiancé may be in the car with me or somebody else, who am I to put THEIR life at risk. Just chill man try not to let these little things bother u.

AMEN. To the OP, I don't think you've been targeted, I think you're just dealing with typical BK traffic. I'm lucky enough to have made it out of there alive... Anyone and everyone just trying to get someplace else faster than you.

I'd be more impressed if you gave me stories of people trying to race you on the Jackie Robinson...
