I would prefer these over the EPL if the compressor wheel is lighter. Keep in mind the shaft which is thin as is was designed to hold the stock wheel which is much smaller. Adding a heavier wheel cannot be too much of a good thing so in this case lighter is better especially when you start hitting very high rpms.
Good job Mike.

Am i the only one that thinks these results are on the low side?
I mean shiv just put down 370whp on a stock car, and 440whp on a car with all the mods, upgraded turbos, race gas and meth? Stock turbo cars do that.... Not blaiming the tune, more the hardware. Plus when are these prices going to get a little more realistic? lol 2400 bucks is highway robbery. |

As far as 2400 for 2 billet turbos being highway robbery do some research.. for other platforms shuch as Porsche, Evo, GTR etc they are MUCH MUCH MORE $$$.. a single billet upgrade for an evo is 1500-2000.. GTR 5000.00 and Porsche 3200.00.. These are very fairly priced IMO.. Mike |

Even though it's better than the competitors, it is still pretty high. I have the same theory with these as with oil coolers: Companies will make more money with lower price/ higher volume. If someone could come out with $1500 turbo upgrades or $400-$500 complete oil cooler kit, hundreds of the people on this forum would go fo them.

I may just decide to set a couple records with these turbos on our 335is.. Then we can see what compares to what stock turbo.. Would look nice underneath my m5 in my signature..

Im not going to sell an inferior turbo setup to meet a set price people want to spend.. Its a 50k car not a honda and i prefer to only offer whats best or nothing at all.. We squeezed the largest wheel we could in these.. Mike |

Also i would like to note this car was not tuned on the ragged edge either.. The drivability compared to the previous system is NIGHT AND DAY.. so much 2 guys that were here that drove the car have pulled there old system and gone to the Procede now.. At the end of the day ill sacrifice 10-20hp to have a car that has stock like drivability which this car does.. The customer will be posting up his feedback after the upgrade shortly..

Glad you guys are making the turbos the best they can be...as we probably wouldn't want them any other way. |

I think it would help your cause if you had a dyno going to redline.
It appears your peak power levels off at 5500-6000. Then the dyno stops. I did notice the burp at 6000 RPM, not sure what that is about. Looks like that is where you cut throttle and the dyno went bonkers. Power under the curve is nice nonetheless. I think an M10 meth nozzle will show the true potential perhaps. |

You really have to drive the car to see what your paying for with these.. The low end TQ and top end pull is perfect.. The drivability in and out of boost is as close to perfect as i have seen.. We do these Billet turbos for Porsche 996tt as well and the drivability on these in comparison is night and day.. Everyone wants a HP # but in order to reach that # if you must sacrifice drivability you will HATE your car.. There is more to a good setup than a Peak Dyno #.. Mike |

Not holding 450WHP, that was old plugs holding 420WHP.
I'm not discrediting the turbo setup yet, just saying a realistic dyno with the correct parts on the vehicle would be a lot stronger. Everyone is a critic. I'm atleast offering substantial advice. |

$2400 for pair of billet turbos is a steal. The stock frame turbos for evos all around $1700-$1800 for a single turbo and here you are getting 2. Im sure mike will post a new dyno sheet with all these hiccups fixed. Coming from building a 800hp evo8 my self, the pricing on performance parts on the 335i are very reasonable comparing to building an evo. |
