fyi --- I ordered this painted rear lip spoiler on 2/16/07, and I really want this Trendix E92 335i Rear Lip Spoiler to work out. If I actually get it and it's a quality piece which looks great on my car, I'll be the first to praise and recommend it with posted pics and my impressions after I get installed. However, I'm currently having some difficulty actually getting this product that I already paid for on my AMEX...

Either way, it's unprofessional and no way to do business...they charge the customer, tell them what they want to hear ("it's in the paint shop, it's being baked, it's ready to be picked up, it's ready to be shipped," etc.), and string them along...not good. :mad: What's the real story here?????

I ordered this painted rear lip spoiler on 2/16/07...If I don't get an answer by Monday, 3/5/07 the first thing I will be doing is calling AMEX to dispute the charge and then calling/PM Trendix to cancel my order. I would suggest to Trendix to quickly get their act together, or they won't be getting many more orders from the ppl on this Forum.

I ordered mine also
Last week, they told me they would ship it by this week
and Im now expecting to get the spoiler next week......

Did you get a tracking number? I did not and I asked for one several times. Maybe it shipped, but I doubt it...without communication saying it shipped and a tracking number, I have my doubts.

I am having the same problems with a set of matte black kidney grills i bought from Trendix. I do not know if they have been sent or not. I have sent them several emails asking for a tracking number but have not got a reply. I do now know what is happening but im beginning to get a little bit

As I said, I will be waiting to hear from them on Mon; if nothing by 3PM EST, then I will be calling AMEX to dispute the charge and canceling my order...I do not like getting jerked around and I do not want to get ripped off.

ok i ordered a spoiler thru the dealer almost 3 weeks ago and they can't even tell me when it will arrive. Looks like I will be getting one from trendix if these other orders go well

After leaving a VoiceMail message at Trendix (b/c nobody answered today @ 1:50PM EST), I have contacted AMEX to dispute the $325.00 charge for a painted spoiler I never received!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I have also sent a PM to the E90Post.com Admin, requesting that Trendix, Inc. be REMOVED as a Sponsor for this site as they have proven to be unreliable with money taken from customers for products not received.

Has anyone received their spoiler from Trendix yet? I talked to Joe and he told me that I should receive mine this week when I ordered (so I'll be a little patient) but I just wanted to know that someone has actually recieved the spoiler and that the product and fitment are good?????

When did you speak with Joe??? I left a message on their machine today and didn't get a return phone call. Plus, I've sent a few PM's to Carlos with no replies. The last I heard from Carlos on 3/1/07 was that they were going to pick up my spoiler from the paint shop and ship it to me, but I never got confirmation on that. I don't know what's going on...it's like they suddenly went out of business on Thurs., 3/1/07????

FWIW -- I would still accept the spoiler if it came in this week (and it was a good, quality piece that fit perfectly), but let's just say that AMEX is now investigating and I've been told that I WILL NOT be responsible for the $325.00 charge should I decide to cancel my order at any time. No matter the excuse, this really is NO WAY to do business. :mad:

Was around that time; however, I didn't order til then so I've only had my order out about 6 days. I was told that it would go into paint shop and be out in about 4 days then shipped after that. So I'm still hopeful but if it doesn't arrive by the end of the week then I'll have a little concern. I actually have family that doesn't live far from there so I'll see if I can get them to take a trip over to check out the situation. More to follow later.

Dont you think thats a tad harsh? Calling them thieves because you havent spoken to them in 5 days and two of those days were on the weekend? Kinda the reason I got the Reiger spoiler instead. All of the people on this website probably made orders and they are most likely up to their necks making and painting these. Just a guess though.

No, not when I've been charged and paid for a product (that was promised to be ready for shipping) and never received (thus far). Yes, I will give them a few more days, but with all the attempts for communication (PM, VoiceMail Messages, Posts, etc.), I think the company (which I know has more than 1 person working for them) should let people know the status of their orders. This is a business and should be run like a business; you don't just take customers money and run!

You know I'm pissed with the shipping company. Got an email on Friday telling me that my car was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, this was at 1130 and Baltimore is 4 hours away and they close at 3 p.m. So now I have to wait a week while my car ships at the Port.:mad: However, if this spoiler thing ever comes thru, and the front lip ever gets off back order, I can finish my mods. Got the wheels, will get the tires in a few days and will get the windows tinted as soon as I pick the car up. Take care.

Wow I am so glad that everyone is so concerned with my personal well being instead of the delayed shipment of their parts.......

First off I will apologize to everyone which have not received their products yet.

Secondly, everyone that has filed a dispute or made a claim with their credit cards will get their refund and I will have UPS reroute the delivery. If you receive the product already please have UPS send it back.

Everyone else who are still waiting will be getting their products later this week or early of next. We will also be giving all those of you who have patiently waited a $100 discount towards a later purchase with us.

Simply put there are no excuses for us but I am a one person operation with part-time help. Had issues with UPS then got into a car accident. I asked my part-time guy to help with some of the issues on the forums but he said he did not know where to start.

There are quite a few PM, emails, and voicemails which I will deal with one by one so if you haven't gotten anything yet it's not because I don't care but simply because I am swamped. I am sorry to have cause any inconvenince to anyone and understand if you want a refund.

Sorry about your car accident...hope you're ok. As I mentioned before, I will gladly accept my Painted Rear Lip Spoiler if it's been shipped and you provide me with a tracking number and an ETA (and the painting and fitment look good of course). Although they will be contacting you, I told AMEX not to cancel my order just yet as I promised I would give you a few more days. As someone else said, if there was ANY WAY, all of this negative stuff could've been avoided with some form of communication relayed to us customers waiting for our ordered products to be shipped...a little good customer service goes a long way.

Unless we're friends or family, it tough to know what's going on in others' private lives; a business' customers are just "customers" who simply buy products or services from that business...it's nothing personal, just business.

FWIW -- If all is good after I receive my spoiler in the next few days, I will inform AMEX that all is resolved. Then, as promised, I will gladly post pics of my 335i Coupe with the Trendix Rear Lip Spoiler and my impressions for all to see here.

Hell yeah Carlos, get em! I was thinking the exact same thing, if people want to file claims with Paypal and their CC companies, then give them their money back and let them look elsewhere for a spoiler for the E92(good luck) and those that have waited patiently will get theirs.

This whole situation the last few days has been ridiculous, all because someone doesn't respond to you after 5 days Trendix suddenly becomes thieves and splits? Whatever.
