Danny, not sure if you remember, but we rode in your car to lunch one day a while back. It was still early in the modding process, but still sounded and looked great back then, sad to see it go!

We will see what happens with the paperwork..if the car is cheap enough to buy back we will and I will begin the process of taking it apart. If they want too much cash for it, its going with all the parts.

Taking a fast car out in the winter is not a problem. The problem was not equipping it with the proper tires...and what ever maneuver/acceleration that adding to the loss of traction. Sorry to say it but your situation is the "poster child" for everyone that claims running summer tires during the winter months is fine. I especially love it when the AWD guys (not just bmw's....subies, evo's, etc.) think running summers is okay in the winter just because they have AWD.

yup....replace the snout with the ZR1s, pulley, tune, cam and exhaust = 700rwhp...and for a V8TT to hit those numbers its gonna need ALOT more work and cash to get there

No reason not to enjoy any car in the winter, just make sure to pick up some snow tires for the V. Cold temps below 50 cause loss in traction. Glad to hear your safe, enjoy the new ride once you get it.

Tell you right now its not going to be cheap to buy it back thats for sure...I am not sure the insurance will let you take it apart and thats the sad side of it..

so basically the thread about the fucked up suspension was pointless because you ended up fucking the car up by yourself...oh well, atleast the suspension was corrected so that couldnt have took the blame...imagine the appraiser saw your suspension upside down and voided the policy
