DIY-Intake Valve Cleaning

There are a couple other ways but this is the best way

no but this the best/cheapest way to DIY. I am actually in the middle of doing mine right now. Very easy to do. im only 2.5hrs in and i have one valve left. its soaking now and then scrubbing away. Lets just pray it starts lol

Thanks let us know how your valve cleaning went. Also, do u feel a difference in performance, MPG etc. Thanks

Is this okay to do on the N52 also? I have 81k and it seems to need it.

Performance: No
MPG: just a tad
Rough Idle: Still there
Misfires: Still there

The only thing i gained was peace of mind and unfortunately found a defect in the head that i am trying to get BMW to check out. Hopefully a new head is in order

I'm trying to open/close some of the valves using a remote starter switch. It has two alligator clips but I'm unsure where I connect the clips on the starter. Anyone aware of where to attach the clips?
