Diesel has a higher energy content than gasoline, so obviously if you want to go faster you should just start filling up at the diesel pump. Problem solved.

gallon of gas= 114,000 BTU's gallon of diesel= 129,500 BTU's clearly diesel is the winner drain that tank and fill er up and call it a day you won't even need a tune |

I had the procede V2 on my last 335 with zero mods, and the procede was incredible on the power gains and over all. I sold it when my lease was up. now I picked up an e93 and have your same predicament. the only thing pulling me to the jb4 is that I was blow away by all the cool customizations I just saw on the you tube video. Don't know much on the procede V5 if it does all that cool boost gauge, map switching on the steering wheel stuff. shit looks pretty sweet. :-) I'm not planning on going crazy on the mods neither....

Procede for me, but like others have said, we are nearly all biased based on what is currently installed in our cars. I feel, in my not-so-humble opinion, that Shiv/Vishnu is an innovator while the JB is a copycat, but that's just what I can gather from reading biased posts from both sides. I also like that crank signal modification (timing control) is native in the Procede while the JB needs the CPS module to do it.
Talk to Jeff @ Topgearsolutions. He has combo deals on bolt-ons + tune of your choice. He has all of them on the shelf and is nothing short of an immense help on the forums here. Both JB and Procede have on-the-fly map switching - JB does it through steering wheel buttons, Procede does it through the cruise control stalk or DTC button (double-click). Both have gauge "hijacking".

There both good....but Terry (IMHO) is more accessible, respectable and a stand up guy. As for the competition well....

Since "money is not an option" buy both, then sell the one u don't like.
I think this is the first "which tune should I buy" thread I have ever seen.. :

"Hmm... I want more power out of my vehicle. I think I'll get a 'chip' for it. That'll make it fast. Ya. Well... I wonder which one is best though? How could I ever tackle such a dilemma? I know, I'll ask the guys on e90post! Theyre genuine and full of constructive 'which tune is best' wisdom!"

Yes, you can. Both tunes have evolved to seem very safe at this point, just don't try running more boost than you can for only having a tune. I would recommend also getting a dci along with the tune if you're on a budget, it's only about 100 more.

I have JB4 & i absolutely Love it! it has a lot of features! & the best thing is the steering wheel controls, you can turn the it on and off as you like & switch maps on the go, also it has a map 8 economy mode now so you get amazing gas milage if you need it. but the power gains are really good!
