Its not really quicker because often the post code doesn't take you to where you want to go. With Google maps you can see exactly where you want to go and be sure that's were you'll end up.

Also - the Post code search on the sat nav is c**p - not even a good as a £90 Garmin!

I must admit - the Google Maps thing is great and I must admit that I do use the google news and weather page - have even set it as a short cut.

However, when the car is 3 years old I don't think I will be paying the extra for the privilage (although I would have been happy to pay £50.)

i agree i would be happy to pay £50 for this but i don't think i will fork out £125 for the privelidge despite its good points

Not sure what BMWs logic is in setting the price so high no one seems to be prepared to pay it!

Bit like their sat nav discs!

Exactly - I don't know if it is a failing in their market research in order to set the price, or simple greed. I guess there must be a cost to providing the service - all those concierges sat there twiddling their thumbs 24 hrs a day!

I would be happy for a 2 tier service paying £50 for the internet connectivity alone.
