Nothing is ever fair. But I do think we have a good amount of users from each tune.

Did OP ever write back about what he chose in the end?

Remember n54tech.com is a forum OWNED and RUN by Burger Motorsports (who make the Juice Box), so it is, by design, biased to the JB.

E90Post is independent of any tuner, so it is more representative of the general population. Regardless of what the JB camp will have you believe, it is the most objective of the BMW forums out there.

+1

I'm just tired of folks saying that e90 is a proceed biased forum and n54 is jb biased when it is actually clear that n54 is biased toward jb by design and e90 has a good following for all tunes.

That's incorrect. Shiv is a supporting vendor (just like Cobb and Mike@N54tuning, etc.), NOT a moderator.

JB4 and procede are the same in many ways, however JB is cheaper and steering wheel functions are easy and cool.

If you are completely stock, get a flash tune, Giac Cobb ESS etc.

I'm pretty sure he is.....

On that note.....why isn't Clap on the forums any longer

Both are great tunes.....I say buy both and return the one you like the least.

Yeah, I saw that too.
There is a dedicated JB Forum which is likely why there wouldnt be too many JB threads here.... Just a guess.

Why would a JB user post a problem here when they have the ability to access Terry and all his information on his forum?

I understand the fanboy perfences, but picked this site purely for the amount of folks on it. As tuning is only a part of modding this car, i felt a larger community would hold more info to consider (maybe not rely on, but consider)

Most advice and even more so tuning advice should be taken from any forum with a grain of salt. That should be a given!

That should go for just about everything said on this forum "Best Exhaust" "Best FMIC" "Best sex lube". At least you are one of the few non-biased vendors, usually they just tell you to buy what they have in stock

Unless you are that type of person who needs to squeeze out every last drop of HP, any safe tune will fit your needs (same goes for just about every other mod made for this car). If you are racing the car competively then driver > mods all day long.

Thanks everyone i appreciate all the comments and incite. I think i'm going to go with the jb4 for now because one its cheaper, but both seem to have good responses from most people. in the future if/when i plan on doing more then bolt ons... ill see which would be a better setup at that time.

also thanks everyone for not flaming me or this thread as i went back and checked a few others this one hasn't really had a bad turn out lol.

thank you,
Crazy
