Sorry for my ignorance, what is lUX? is it just white lights?

Also I have noticed the new 5 series have the running liughts wired like the coupes with only the rings on during day time....has to be a way to retrofit that/....

i see it was mentioned already powering the halos from the DRL wire. i dont care about error messages. is i just cut the power wire and connect it to halo will this work for me?

hey, i wanted to do the angel eyes mod to a bright white or cosmic blue color... and i own a '07 335i sedan, isn't there a easier way, like the coupe by just swapping out the bulbs? if not why?

yes, the e92 is just a bulb switch

the e90 not. the headlights are different.

get the lux ... install is not difficult.

joe,

what's the difference between drl halo and what mpowerman has done (halos and no rear lights)?
or for that matter, with cdm, if you turn the switch to parking lights, you get the halos + rear lights

what else are you wanting?

the parking light feature doesnt turn off automatically when you shut the car. i forget to shut them all the time and dont want to come back to a dead car, espc cuz i dont have folding seats and i have a bimmian keyhole cover

Man the e335i sedan is so much more difficult then the e92.
Anyone know which bulbs i need to change the fog lights as well?

question... is it posible to just leave the halo connection as is and just run power from the fuse box to the wire powering the lights with a fuse in between, avoiding the whole dummy lught bulb? im asuming the halos are already grounded. essentially the halos will be connected to the fuse box and computer so constant power and no error?

Excellent and fairly easy mod. Thank you!

PS After I finished it and closed everything I realized that using a resistor instead of the "old" lamp would be easer and I would not have to worry about that lamp burning out and throwing an error message .. Oh well, when it happens I'll replace the lamp with the resistor.
