I may be old school, but I have a request if anyone is listening - how about a red LED replacement for the map light bulbs? Would be great for late night road tripping when a passenger wants to read or something (with a smart phone and built in navigation, I probably won't have much need for an actual paper map...) even better would be if they were red-orange like the dash lights and the strips on the doors...

dayam. Gonna have to order those... so long as the map lights don't come on with the dome lights, that would be odd... (runs out to car to check)
Cool, I think that will do what I want them to do. Thank you! My wallet hates you, but thank you. Edit: If these work well, I may be interested in setting up a GB for some #57 red bulbs, if you can get such a thing - for one of my other automotive obsessions, which used #57R incandescents for dash lighting, but if a brighter LED replacement were available that would be super spiffy. You're correct, but unfortunately, I forgot to take those pictures!
![]() But if you've made it that far, the removal of the power plug should be very doable. If you want an "idea" of what you need to remove, look at this picture for the EAS E92/93 LCI retrofit kit. See the black plug with the wires coming out of it?? The E90 plug looks very, very similar to that. http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/3...ightinstal.jpg |

We only have the interior led kits. However, HPB (not my company) sells all the LED lighting you can think of. If you dont see it on their site just shoot them an email. |

Did you find the leds to bright or was it just right? Not sure if I should get the v2 or the normal output.

I just installed my overpriced LED kit ($169) from another vendor, and was very disappointed. The lights were not even comparable to OEM. So I looked around, and found HPB. I bought the LED conversation kit 2.0, with all the extra options. Total of $154. I will report back when I have installed it.

hi guys, I know this is a 2 year old thread but I was wondering if someone has a picture of with the 24 LED dome module. Im curious to see what it looks like without that cover since you cant use the cover anymore correct?
Nevermind about it not being able to use the cover. Last edited by vincedea; 07-22-2016 at 03:52 PM.. Reason: Nevermind Jeff has confirmed for me that the cover is still use able with the 24 LED module |
