WHAT?! So you are going on the 7th now? I gotta figure out my issue so I can get out with you.

Issue solved....replaced the Cool Carbons Jon B hates them too. It's kinda odd how we both had similar issues with the same pads. It was hot and you are going lots faster than Infineon....makes sense that they glazed over. Jon and I got black flaged, so no good run for us. I missed the big crash, what happened?

I cannot make the 7th

Yeh, I know I'm lame. Just had a crappy Sunday run (nothing clean) and now I'm motivated to make the ridiculous journey to try again w/ NCRC. Plus it's the tail end of the long weekend.

Well, I didn't have a clean run either. I didn't have too many runs either. Very weak day for me. Here's how my day worked out...

Session 1) 4 laps. It was the slowest session ever as the traffic never let up. I got a tiny bit of running room, experienced brake shudder, then pit.
Session 3) Didn't run. Worked on car.
Session 4) Tried again. Too much shudder. Shut down after 1 lap.

Session 2) 2 laps with video. Hit traffic at 5:00. Pretty hard brake shudder around 5:30 that didn't let up. A short while later, I shut it down.

Syndicate, I'm still not convinced it's my pads. Think its the rotors. I hope to find out soon.

Yeh dude, sorry the day sucked so much. Shutting down was the right thing to do, that shudder is pretty bad.

Thanks for all the help getting the ECU hookup for the data logger. The preliminary results are here (plus 2 minutes of the last session with you leading and getting 2 wheels in the dirt!):

Aki (sp?),

No problem with the help. That was pretty easy stuff. Glad we could get it done before the last session. That AIM setup is freaking cool! I'd be all over that if it weren't so expensive. LMK when it's Buy 1 Get 1 free. Yeah, right.

Yes, day sucked. A few slow laps and a rotor-burned-arm is all I have to show for the day. I hope to get the brakes addressed before Sep 7th. Then, maybe we'll get more than 2 laps together.

Nice vid Aki! I love that software

Dan, did you damage the inside of your rim when you hit the dirt?
