No worry. You can order the lip that fits with vehicle has active cruise control. Different part number.

300 shipped? that's damn good...but the paint and install is a bit expensive...even BMW don't charge that much... installation is very easy, took me 10 minutes...

i would really love to get but im sure it would be really expensive to get painted and installed especially if i got it done by the dealer (since mine is a leased car)..the dealer told me any aftermarket things i would wanna do would have to be run by them and installed by them as to not void warranty

This is a BMW accessory, it will not void your warranty...installation is very easy, it lines up, just tape the front, and there are predrilled holes on the bottom just bolt it on... a shop can paint the lip for u for 100 bucks....it's prepped ready for paint...

Two questions:
1. How much lower to the ground does this front lip hang compared to stock? 2. The "mouth" opening to the intercooler looks larger. Is that true or is it an optical illusion since it's just got that "scoop" lip attached? |

1-maybe an inch 2-optical illusion. its actually should be slightly smaller since the new lip goes OVER the original.

Cool, thanks. I wonder though if more (or less) air gets to the intercooler with this front lip? The "sagging" lip part below the intercooler almost looks a bit like a scoop that might bring more air into the intercooler. Thoughts? |

Bigger opening = more air. However, real world results? Might be marginal.

It's just the "scoop" makes it appear that way. Wondering if the "scoop" actually "draws" more air into the intercooler? It's probably a non-issue really as basically the same amount of air is hitting the front of the car at any given speed, therefore same amount of air is hitting the intercooler. |
