Was your thermal coat black or gray? I don't get why my dp's dont look like any of the other pics I've seen. Also, you need the DP fix with the AP? I thought the stage 2 map on the AP takes care of the codes. I haven't installed my dps yet

What is the advantage of keeping heat inside with thermal coat? AR's doesn't have thermal coating. I know it is popular to do so but I can't see the advantage.

Ms dp

Had my MS DP put on last week. Welds were near perfect. Fit was perfect. My shop had them on in an hour. Sound is perfect with stock exhaust and golf tee mod. Power difference is crazy. Will dyno soon

The Macht Schnell DownPipes are widely respected among the BMW world in both fitment and performance.

You simply can't go wrong with a set.

We had an issue with one of our customers with the Macht Schnell DP's. The ceramic coating on the flange (why they coat the mating surface is beyond me) was causing the downpipes to leak.

The flanges on the DP's also weren't lining up 100% with the oem catback which may have caused the leak, but once we cleaned up the flanges on the dp's it helped the leak.
