i picked up my car this afternoon! it looks amazing!

I got a phone call this morning as well. CA said car is getting unloaded from the truck as we speak. I get to pick it up tomorrow morning. Whoo hooo!!!!! Took 3 days to get my car from VPC to dealers. I'll post pics when I get the car.

7 days after Turandot arrived at port and still no car for me. CA doesn't know where it is (or is not checking or?)

I expected it to be 7-10 days after arrival but everyone else seems to have gottten their cars last wknd.

My car had some front wheel damage from ED which was supposedly being repaired at the PDC. I would have thought all they would have done was replace the wheel and send it to the dealership. My CA will be calling tomorrow to find out the status.

i tinted 35 all around, it's not too dark but it's not too light. everything looks awesome except for the dot matrix in the rear window; make sure you tell whomever is tinting your car to heat up the dot matrix before they apply the film. it'll help a lot. that's all the advice i can give you from first hand experience. GOOD LUCK!

5-11- STILL IN TRANSIT!!
5-15- arrived in California port
5-18: CA: '' ....any day now..." ok, then WTF?!
5-22.....I really expected the call today!!!
5-24-07 Drove away! desperately trying to keep it under 100mph.

very poor experience at dealership,
will lease next one out of state.

and Remember,
the manual says: .....keep under 4500 rpms and under 100 mph until 1200 miles.

I'm still mad about my recent purchase! I just picked up my 335 on thurs.(also my 2nd bmw )....WOW My experience exactly the same plus some other added annoyances...
.I had to practically break his arm for $500 off
.added $250 to our previously discussed prices the day of delivery
.no knowledge or explanation of missing oil cooler
.didn't know anything about Ipod integration
.brow beat me to death for not buying tire warranty
.finance dude was a rude ass
.THEN after all this tell me to give him scores of perfect 5's when BMW calls!!!!

I mean,
he did me absolutely no favors at all.

I think I should lease instead of buy next time and do out of state.

i was wondering, how much do you think it'll cost to put in an oil cooler? and plus lets say im driving to vegas and going 80-90 is it going to overheat?

there's only one way to find out I guess........

No idea how much cost.
IF it heats and goes into Limp Mode
THEN I guess we can get pissed ......

Dealeship told me they could not order it.
That they had to get "Ordered'' to order by bmw.

Hey, MAYBE we don't need them.
Could just be over reacting paranoia by forum-people.
I take it all w/ a grain of salt.
But I will be really really really really pissed off I have to stop driving cuz' my "ultimate driving machine'' can't handle the hardcore manuevers.

I thought the oil cooler issue was resolved with March 07 production vehicles. I guess not. What is BMW's excuse for not installing it? Is everyone in the same boat with the missing oil cooler or do some of you have it and others don't? This will piss me off if I don't have the additional oil cooler. Here's a link to an interesting clip on the oil cooler that makes it seem there is a problem.

Any luck in finding out which ship your BMW is on? I'm guessing we are on the same one however I haven't called to find out. From what others have posted regarding the time BMW of Honolulu took to release their vehicles it looks like I might get my vehicle in early June provided it got on the boat out of Cali. Well either the wait is getting short.
