IMO the main reason they made dps a requirement is due to the massive amounts of back pressure the stock dps present, especially at the stage 2 boost levels. If you want to prematurely kill your cats and accelerate compressor wear, have at it. Just don't say we didn't warn you.

in otherwords, what would happen if people wanted to test the stage 2 maps without DPs, I assume it would do more harm than good. |

Gave it a whirl.
Put some 100 octane in the car and tried the Stage 2+ aggressive. Very nice. Only thing I noticed was some odd shifting from the car while in "D" and light throttle. It was almost like the tranny was slipping. Seemed normal under moderate throttle and under DS and M modes. Not sure what to make of it. |

I am not sure where meth integration is on the agenda. The issue would be how to integrate this into the mapping and for what system? What size nozzles, what mix of meth/water or just meth? These are issues we will have to sort out before we can integrate this into an OTS map. We will keep the community posted as we develop more features and capabilities.

Meth would be a lot cheaper. I hope some more built tranny options come out. I think us AT guys will need it. |

On this platform with meth, excess meth injected means the dme will pull fuel, or at the very least, have more fuel available. I'd recommend minimum meth flow and mixture as an "official" recommendation and let us figure out the rest. You can always release meth maps in three different forms of aggression as you did stage 2. This is what I'd probably end up doing with ATR.

Not that I can't afford aftermarkets downpipes, but I know getting warranty work done would be easier with stock looking downpipes. It seems most guys with just after market FMIC aren't being hasseled by dealers.

I have the BMW performance exhaust on my 335i sedan, which is a catback system that eliminates one of the resonators for an X-pipe. Is this exhaust considered "free-flowing"? They do advertise gains with this catback. Thanks,

that wouldn't suffice unless you had your secondary cats cut out and replaced with straight pipes. A cat back usually means no cats after the DPs. your Perf exhaust is not free flowing enough.
