I'm going to try setting Start Boost in % to 25% with autotune off. That should be the 12.5psi like I originally wanted. Once I see those logs, I will continue to lower it bit by bit....ughh....need meth injection now! haha

yeah u can always try it however you want..but if you do that make sure you raise your max boost to 13..remember..max boost always must be slightly higher than start boost..but your previous logs indicate to me that 12 psi is still too high

Yeah I understand that now...I just didn't quite understand how the lower value was calculated and used. All good now! And yes, I too think that 12psi is unfortunately too high still...but just for comparison and better control.

youll most likely benefit most from lowering start boost to 11 and max to 12..it will give you better timing advance and should stop dropping out... which feels much better than adding boost...also safer on the engine as well..timing drops are bad..something you dont want to see

yeah "can actual ignition advance"...not only is yours quite low and has drop outs..under wot and full boost most of us are reaching 10-11 degrees of advance and yours is staying relatively lower..between 7-9 degrees..if you look at the line of the graph for this..look closely at the dropouts..it small dips in the line..some were small and there was a few large one..this is the dme reacting to knock in the combustion chamber..too much boost with your setup is causing knock events aka timing drops

that line should be solid and steady..flat across the rpm range..as you see in your logs that the higher your boost..the more drops you have

cool...glad to be of help..once you learn how to read the logs you can really figure out lots of issues in the future..you will get to the point where u can see a log and notice the problem.. it sticks out like a sore thumb..and make the proper adjustments..once you get that timing higher..you will notice it for sure..the engine will feel so much more solid and pull harder

once you put meth on..it will be like adding another procede..youll be able to run 15-16 psi and max timing safely..will be absolutely amazing

I just filled up with e30 premix at a station in central MN, but I wonder what the base is? 87 or 89?
