Which shop in Denver is doing the install for you?

you think the stock pads are better then cool carbon pads?!

From personal experience of running a Procede V5 rev3 with PWM meth around Roebling Road Course the Cool Carbon pads bite way harder and slow the car down way faster then stock pads.

We did the quote. The quote included 3 hours of labor, and sales tax. So nowhere near retail. Customer came in and asked for a BOV, tune, and intake, so I quoted what he asked for.

I tend to quote parts separate from labor to avoid this kind of confusion

Yes, and I know of other people who had CC pads and went back to stock. CC pads are great at daily driving, but once they hit the track hard....you will get terrible brake jutter due to excess deposits. Yes, they were bedded in properly. IMO, they are good but I can't justify the cost over the decent stock pads. Ran Thunderhill this summer (90F and dry) both myself and the other guy using CC pads had to pit early due to the jutter. The jutter was so bad, it became a safety hazard and thought I'd go into a wall coming down the straights. Put the stock pads on and the issue went away. Later, I used the CC pads at Infineon where it's a slower track and cooler; I had some jutter but it wasn't nearly as bad as T-Hill.
