We're open to suggestions. We need parking free from the lot police (i.e., security), and big enough to accomodate all of us together.

We have one potential place in mind (South Bay) that can accomodate everyone and allow us to have a BBQ potluck so we can all hang out and EAT! This location is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Most malls will not allow for an organized congregation of vehicles, plus experience has shown that it is very inconvenient if not impossible to accomodate extremely large parties of people at one local restaurant. The advantage of having a BBQ is that we don't have to caravan to a crowded lot and wait for the eats.

Let me know if you're interested... it's located in glendale CA behind the costco and best buy. It's a church parking lot that I attend. I think they'd be open to renting it out for a day (or take a donation). Maybe some of the raffle money can go to charity / donation.

Fun Fact: Fast and the Furious Tokyo drift was partly shot at this parking lot.
can you get me the address???

I don't think cramming 50+ people into a restaurant is a good idea. And if we were to do this, are the restaurants within walking distance? Glendale is pretty darn crowded, and the Galleria bicycle wannabe cops are idiots.

Better to have a place we can all stay parked at.

Well said, BBQ or some kind of catering would be a better idea for a big event like this. How about getting a DJ as well? it'll be a total outdoor event. Or we can do it Bimmerfest style, have food stands, overcharge people for food and make them wait an hour just for a hotdog

Vorsteiner and DPE have already agree to sponsor this meet. there will be more sponsors added to the list. there will be a raffle for their stuff.

date: July 14
time: afternoon
location: TBA
raffle prizes: so far 1 DPE coupon for 50% off, 2 vorsteiner coupon for 50% and 2 30%, shirts more to be announce.

raffle tickets price: TBA

if you guys have miss previous meet before, you do not want to miss this one. the prizes that are giving away at this meet is the same as bimmerfest. except you dont have thousands of others to compete against. so clear out your calender. it will be towards end of june or mid july. all depends on when and where i can secure a spot to hold 50 or more E90/E91/E92/E93. all profits will go to the cost to set this meet up (if any) and the rest will go to charity. stock or modify, bring it out. to the new guys, dont be shy, we all started new. hope to see you there....

Okay, all you OC people who can't drive outside the OC area, we're open to suggestions. We were thinking of Huntington State Beach, but though firepits are allowed, we're not sure about BBQ.

We need a place we can prepare food (i.e., park), park together while avoiding the crowds, and offer a fun environment for everyone, not just us, but kids, significant others, etc.

Here's an idea for a place in South Bay.

Wilson Park (near Crenshaw Blvd and Sepulveda Blvd)
2400 Jefferson Street
Torrance, CA

What about Miles Square park? It's been a LONG time since i've been there but maybe. I think we did a BMW CCA clean car contest there a few years ago.

hmm...wilson park....

where would everyone park their cars? i think the bbq areas would be too far away from the cars...if anyone is scared of some punk kid doing some stuff to their car then it wouldnt be such a good idea.. The main parking lot is off to the side of the park and the tennis courts/hocky/skatepark block the view of the cars

how about Columbia Park? on 190th?
