Another good thing about school in Boston, is on any given night you can hit atleast 10 other school parties. When I was going to school there, me and the roomie went around one day and bought a bunch of different school's sweatshirts. It's like an invitation to any campus party. Needless to say, it was a great purchase. We'd hit about 5-10 different schools every night... lol

haha yeah devon grissom (the girl from sweet home alabama) was in my accounting class. I would say Alabama has alot of tradition that some schools lack and a lot of class. There is a very large Greek population idk if you are interested in that or not.

New England Institute of Art for graphic design. It wasn't bad, but I got bored quick, and joined the Army, moving to Germany. Got accepted to quite a few schools, but at the time thought I really like Graphic Design. Now I have a degree in Criminal Justice with specialization in Forensic Psychology from Kaplan University.

Other than what I said before, all I can say is once you've became a good student and learned time management, live these next 4 years like they're your last. You only get this chance once, fill the story book up with as many outlandish drunken stories possible.

Valid point, although, it helps you grow up. I had an apartment with a few buddies, and you learn quick about budget management, bills, etc. Sure, some college kids aren't ready for that, but I preferred it over Campus living. EVERYONE in Boston is there for college, and that is what I loved about it. You'll have endless friends for life with social networking the way it is these days.

Depends on what you take out of it. I enjoy working, so I got a job while I was there. I had plenty of time for school and friends as well though. My apartment was covered under my college loans, so that part wasn't an issue for me. Depending on the school, you can have your rent covered since they do not offer a campus to live on.

Probably, although I never looked into it. No matter what you do, or where you end up, everyone will have a different experience. You could hate college for all you know, and just haven't figured that out yet. You could say (like I did) "You know what, I just want to start my life" and go a different route after a year or two. You just have to make the best of every situation. Times will suck, and then times will be awesome. But it will for sure be memories you will always carry with you.

Edit: As for a girlfriend, I'd try to avoid it. But, who is to say you won't meet the most perfect girl in the world the first day you get there. Rough call.

Who's to say that perfect girl will want to date freshmen year. Generally people get to college and want to explore, so you do the same. Girls start looking for a man around JR year.

OP and I rarely say this, but for a HS senior you sound pretty level headed as mature. Just enjoy college, you have the remainder of your life to be serious.

Get your work done, and wake up on bleachers during the weekend.
