Cobb, would you recomend waiting until the beta race map is out for people wanting to be protuned on meth so the tuner has a base map to start with?

If they have any n54 experience they'll know what to do. No worries!

Wait, so you need an AP, which can then be taken to a shop with an ATP for custom tuning?

I'm about 5 mins from Akuma Motorsports in NJ, so that should be great!

Yes, that's right. Give Jon a call ASAP. He's been itching to tell everyone about this!

That's great!

A little bit off-topic, but I've noticed that on COBB's site it states that Akuma Motorsports is located in Morganville. They have actually moved to Woodbridge. To be specific:

2 Amboy Ave. Suite 7
Woodbridge NJ, 07095

Just FYI

I would guess Ben at GTC will be and we are certainly open to adding more.

Im so gonna make an appointment at Akuma Motorsports in NJ. I live just outside Philly so it should only be about an hour drive up 95 north. I saw that the owner of Akuma used to work for Cobb. SWEET. He doesn't seem to have any BMW shop cars. I wonder what his experience on the BMW N54 is?

Great news! Looking forward to ATR now so I can do my own tune!!

Piece of advice (and obviously its just advice and I don't care if people listen or not) but I would stay as far away from The Shop as possible. Akuma is meh but okay (2 friends have been ripped off by them but from what I can tell they at least are decent tuners) - but stay as far away from The Shop as you can.

is a custom tune worth it if you're just stock and running stage 1 aggressive on 93 octane? without mods, is there really that much more power to be had, if any?

Wait, wait, wait. Are you saying that you have to buy an $850.00 AP AND THEN take it to a tuner to then pay them about $500.00 to tune your car with your own hardware? Please tell me I have this all wrong...
