I have rehosted APManager at another location and updated APManager links on the website. Please clear your browser cache, refresh and attempt to download. Note that it could take 20-30 seconds for this install of AP Manager to respond after opening. Please let me know if you encounter any links that don't work.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks!

This was an issue for some on the v300 beta maps released around Sept of last year and was corrected on the v301. It appears to be related to the tuning and not the hardware on your vehicle and does not seem to be corrected by reflashing. The DME logic error results in a complete loss of power when you need it most which can be scary and embarrassing. The vehicle will run ok once restarted but will shutdown again when the vehicle experiences the same conditions that caused it the first time (high load).

Unfortunate that the revised maps are having this issue since it was already addressed in the past.

It would be great if Cobb could explain what exactly causes this issue and why it is happening again on the new maps.

Thanks for the help Gary. I was able to download version 2.0.1.5 off Cobb's webiste. My newest issue is that I get an error when trying to check for any firmware updates, even with the check for firmware beta option checked. Anyone else get this issue? I'm wondering if this is a server related issue similar to the AP manager software issue I had earlier.

So do these maps make more power than the older V301 maps? The V301 maps ran great for me.

I'm having trouble starting up my AP Manager on both OS X and PC. It freezes in both instances almost the moment I open the program. Anyone else having these problems/have a solution? I'm also unable to download a new instance of AP Manager for Mac, Cobb is still working on their separate server issue I suppose, does anyone have a mirror?

Thanks!

ccbad,

Yes, this will be associated with the server issue as well. I'm sorry, but I don't believe I can get that addressed until the server is back up. We've opened a ticket with our server hosting provider. I'm hoping this will be back up shortly.

I am sorry I can't do more for you, right now, when you need it.

Gary, thanks for at least addressing the issue. I greatly appreciate it.

On my PC, running windows XP, it takes longer than usual to start the program. I'd say almost a minute from clicking the icon to getting the interface to fully appear. This may have to do with their server issues unfortunately. Hopefully all of this will be resolved tomorrow.

Cobb Team,

Is there a firmware update associated with those beta 4.0 maps? ...or is it the case of new maps for the v3.01 firmware?

Is it normal for these v400 maps to take much longer to flash? I have not updated my firmware since stage 2 came out. And since cobbs servers aren't working great right now it wouldn't let me update it

Yes, our AP Manager software developer told me to expect start-up delays of up to 30 seconds, but he could have underestimated the delay. I believe it has something to do with auto-checking for the latest AP Manager update and that's how long it's taking the query to time out.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

Thanks,

Gary

Our hosted server is back up, so firmware updating through AP Manager should be functioning again.

Thanks,

Gary

probably because it has to upload a new firmware I am guessing?

It took a lot longer for me too in comparison to changing between sport and aggressive.

No new firmware associated with these maps. You should be able to download to your computer, transfer to AP and flash to DME.

Thanks,

Gary

805beemer,

Yes it is normal. The first time you flash from v301 to v400 it will be a longer flash. Flashing will be normal when switching between v400 maps.

Thanks,
Jason

805,

What firmware are you using. Firmware 1.6.5.0 is the latest GA firmware from 12/12/11 and will work fine with these maps.

Thanks,

Gary
