Darn.. CA must have been way busy this afternoon - wasn't able to get a hold of him to check on the boat. I'm feeling surprisingly patient though, so I'll just find out later tonight or tomorrow I suppose...

My CA is on vacation. Sent me an E-Mail today saying he could not check until Friday. My status by that time will either have changed or remained the same. It looks like, by reading some of the other vessel threads, it takes 2 days before the 800 number of OC is updated after the ship leaves.

Only time will tell. Stay patient! Today was the first day over the past 5 that I think I have accepted my situation

I have a question. Does anyone have any idea why this vessel stops in both Antwerp and Zeebrugge? They are only about 100km apart, both in the same country and I would assume from my knowledge of European logistics that they would both have rail and truck access. Just seems odd that they would berth this big girl twice in such a short distance.

Just wondering. Helps me pass the time during the wait.

My vehicle finally shows up on the shipping company's website: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto but still shows as "Awaiting Transport" on the Owner Circle. Oh well, I know it's definitely on its way to me.

Congrats. I think the hard part is over now that we have a much better idea when our cars will arrive in our driveways

Hey man, thanks a lot for the updates. It sure helps the painful waiting game to at least know what is going on.

I wish they would create a web app around the tool the Dealer uses to track our cars so we could check the status ourselves. Owner's Circle is a lame attempt at it.

Who wants to create a new web site that combines data from the dealer, web cams, and boat tracking data to create the ultimate car tracking site? We could initially track BMW's, but then also track MB, Porsche and Audi cars as well.

We'd need the support of BMW...or perhaps we can find a friendly dealer who will let us tap their tracking app for a proof of concept.

How would we make money? Advertising of course!

jimbethesda.....that's actually a good idea, I was thinking the same thing. It wouldn't be all that hard to do, if, like you said, you could get some support from BMW to do it.

On another note, my VIN showed up on the Freedom this morning too! NY on the 25th, and hopefully delivery a few days later (I'm in southeastern PA)

Thanks alot. Man that means a couple days on the road to Houston, then a couple more days to get it ready for me. I wonder if I can get anything else out of my CA because she said it would take 6 weeks. Maybe a jack set or something! hehe

No problem on the updates. The combining all the status tracking would be a great idea! BMW clearly can better than they do today. If you get a chance to read some of the older tracking threads from past voyages you will see the same common theme of anxiety as ours Of course once we get our cars will we still be that enthused to build a status tracking site?

My CA indicated this morning that it would be 3-5 days to the dealership after it arrives in port. I think this would heavily depend on where you live and also if the PDC has to do anything to the car once it arrives. I appreciate the fact that so many people are as "Eager" to receive their car as I am. My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts.

BTW looks like Freedom is just now leaving Antwerp. She's on the road again
