yeah, It looked like real mugen but alot of honda guys have replica mugen lips(I had replica ) so I didn't want to make the owner feel bad by saying nice mugen lip when its not. but if it is, thats cool!
It can't be stock greddy kit setup if that thing runs 12s. B16A requires lots of tuning to get it to run right safely AND fast. tunability of that motor is virtually unlimited in the aftermarket world so its not a tough job to do anyway. those little 1.6L can do wonders. props to your friend for keeping it clean and for making sure it has power to back it up!

well enough about hondas, whatever happend to that guy who was building turbos for the 3 and 5? he seems to know how stuff, he has a fast supra and knows the guy who owns the fastest supra in the world, so hes in good hands |

oh, its LS/VTEC. lol, that says alot. b16head/b18block?
Yeah, I've been to CFT website before. I think they released a video before, a turbo(or sc) civic(99-00 coupe) smoking a supra or something. Can't remember exactly, but it was simply amazing. As for the guy building turbos for 3/5, I think he is the owner or a staff member of Torquefreaks/Horsepower freaks. They are the Supra specialists, own 8sec/9sec supras. Shop with very high reputation and known for great tuning work(proven too). I think Torquefreaks is well known between most japanese automotive tuners, especially the 2JZ owners. They bought 3 series/5 series as test mules for prototype turbo kits. I go there once in awhile. Great guys over there. I'll go check out the shop when weather gets better, see how they are doing and maybe ask them about progress of the turbo kit for e90s.

the 500hp new Z06 does it in 11.7, given the civic is of course lighter (z06 3100lbs) but I would tend to question the validity of the speed claims on the car above. no need to resort to name calling lemme |

the inside on that civic is probably gutted, so if the car pretty much only weighs 2500lbs with 325hp or maybe whp i could see it doing a 12 sec quarter mile with slicks no prob.
