I'm calling BS.
BS on Sacramento being on your way to SoCal. Obviously, you must not have Nav. Congrats on the new record. Too bad it's not going to last long. I fully expect a new record within 1 week. |

Why does everyone think the 6AT will be much faster if at all. The only reason the ATs are faster than the 6m with stock turbos is the Launch. No 6m comes close to the AT's 60s and no 1-2 shift with them launching from second gear; which the stock turbos let you do with peak tq so low in RPMs.
Shiv has a 1.57 that will be HARD to beat in any AT. An XI car will be interesting tho. Second gear launches with big single will prob not work anymore. I feel like a lot of people are naive about the facts I just stated. Anyway, congrats on a great pass. A milestone indeed.

Hi guys-- we are still losing at least a tenth of a second at the launch due to a mild bog (see datalog). With a few more runs of practice, I suspect this car will cut 1.4x 60' times. I don't see a 6at doing that unless it launches in 1st which would then mean that it also has to shift 3 times during the run.

It looks like the passenger seat is back in too unless the bro sitting next to you is really good at squatting for long distances! Maybe they took it out for the run?
If the seat is indeed back in, is that DD enough for everyone?!

Congratulations ! It's really a big accomplishment for the N54 world. I'm so glad to see a manual gearbox 335i doing this kind of 60' performance. What clutch are you using ?
