Matt, I think I saw somewhere that you don't do oil changes 'cause it's not profitable. Is that right?

Correct. While I could do it for less than the dealer would charge you, I'd only make a couple dollars, and it's really not worth my time. Sounds greedy, I know, but it's the truth. Just do it yourself if you want to save real money on an oil change. If you do it, you'll save like $40-50 bucks on a plain old oil change.

I know people said it's easy on 335i. I'm just not that technical, and never worked on cars myself. I will have to schedule to drive to M-shop, it's just they are about 25 miles away from me.

I have no clue bud, sorry! Try calling around to some race shops. I've never done that, but I know you need corner scales...

Not to take the thread away from Matt. But you should contact Darin at West End Alignment. Not exactly the OC, but more like Torrance, but he does great work. Everyone who tracks their cars go to him. You can ask him for a deal on corner balancing and alignment as well.

do you fix leak on the lamp?
i got a car accident, my lamp leaks now.
so is there any way to draw out the moist and put melted plastic on to prevent leak?
how much would you charge for that?
or should i just get corner delete done by you?

every time i need an alignment on my s2k, i'll go to darin.
i don't know how alignment will affect 3 series but i see HUGE difference on my s2k.

Well the corner delete won't affect your moisture problem....

I think you're better off getting a new headlight, bud. I'm not a fan of half-ass repairs, since they're about 90% likely just to fail again later.

You're in Boston, so the cost to replace an E30 transmission is like $1000. lol. Gotta fly me to Boston! heh.
