Dual Pass Finned Cooler. Bolt this into your intake on or near Ciba Scoops, or AFE Scoops. It gets filled with R-134a at any mechanical hvac contractor. It is a Freon replacement. Make sure to use gloves if handling your cooler, it will be frosty cold! The flow of air gets cooled and compressed into the sealed air box. This increases volumetric efficiency and has denser air feeding into the intake for better combustion.

The spacer increases the length the air travels into the combustion chamber. By centre punching the "valley" in each serration, the flow is disrupted causing the air to travel a greater distance, and consequently speeds up the flow.
The other changes mentioned are very self explanatory. |

The holes on the end have NPT plugs to keep the R-134 coolant in the finned aluminum cooler. The "freon" replacement is pumped into the unit, then it gets sealed up.
The entire thing is just a cold storage vessel that cools and increases density of the air intake. As the outside air flows over the cooler, the temperature of the intake charge is lowered increasing volumetric efficiency. |
