If I came across this post a week ago...
I bought N54 LSU 4.9 sensor and I tried to install on N55 platform... big mistake and waste of money for parts and labors. The car idle went rough/ cutting on soft acceleration. The N55 upstream o2 sensor (LSU ADV) operates with LT4 ADV control unit which is quite different than N54 (LSU 4.9) LSU-IC unit and yes (one more time)... WE CANNOT CUT OFF THE PLUGS even on N54 N55 platforms and use the same sensors. |
