nice runs! probably the only 335i i've seen with a slip that runs 12.4... most other ones are running ~12.6 and the 135's running 12.2-12.4 on COBB.

Sure there are other places in Africa, haven't been there a whole lot.
But outside Pretoria you have a stretch that was at least 4 lanes, if not 5. Maybe that's where you go?
Be sure to check out your fuel pump before heading out on a nightly race, as you might find yourselfs in a bit of a pickle, if stranded!

Good luck

I'm looking to hit 11s to this weekend also. I did 12.0 on my 19s. Gonna put on some radials and finally get into 11s!

the first page of the jb4 sticky says what boost levels map 7 runs.
No need to get all crazy on me. All you had to do was explain what you just said. I only said that because I run faster times on the track using map 7 with 50/50 - 40/60 93/e85 blends than I do on map 5. I am on your side man!!

My best 60' on Hankook Ventus v12's is 1.9high, but I have some 275/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports scheduled to come tomorrow. I will see how they hook on the track and let you know. They are not drag radials, but I need some security with these flash floods in Vegas. There may be some hope..

I apologize for my previous comment b/c tonight's WOT session proved your point. The OEM clutch with 66k original miles wasn't catching worth a damn. Looks like I will be upgrading to a stronger clutch shortly
Fully_Bolted, what clutch are you using right now?

No worries man, i was excited when my clutch started slipping, especially since i was tuning the car myself.

34k on mine, '07 build. Went with HPF stage 1 with oem flywheel.

When it was first installed it chattered like crazy, hard to engage in first and reverse. Broke it in and hit the track. After a few weeks and a trip to the dragstrip it engages nice and smooth. Pedal pressure is about 25% more than stock, not bad at all. IF i short shift, it barks the tires through 4th

Definitely not a bad choice of wheels. Do you still have your stockers?

To keep things short, I lost the first run because I shifted too slow and my protune wasn't finished. My car is 6MT and "Stucks" car is 6AT. Now that my protune is completed, we set out for a rematch.

Car Mods & Details for Run #2:

Laid Black 335i: 2007 BMW 335i (6MT): Cobb Protune (18 psi), FBO, No Meth, Stock OEM Exhaust, running a 60/40 mix of 93/E85.

VS.

Stucks (Camera Car): 2008 BMW 335i (6AT): JB4 (Map 5 - 16.5psi), FBO, No Meth, Stock OEM Exhaust, running a 75/25 mix of 93/E85.

Summary: We did a 40 roll again letting off around 135. I was able to pull a car length at the start and by the time we let off, I was half a car ahead.

Just for kicks.... here's a video of my 60-130 time. I estimate it is low to mid 9's.

Very nice runs! I really enjoyed the videos!
I would like to see another re-match with JB4 running MAP7.
What exactly does protune do to COBB tuning?
