Sucks to hear that crap hit the fan for you in life. I had a similar experience happen several years back and decided to do a reset on life as well but in my case I stayed and got through it with a couple of really good friends and just taking a break from the world a bit. You don't always have to physically leave in order to step away and reset, like a lot of things in life it's mostly mental. Anyway, whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck and hopefully things turn out well for you.
I just saw this. Sometimes all it takes is for everything to crash down and you having to force yourself to re-build yourself. I find that at times I get too comfortable to work on my well being. Now with this happening, my friends and myself are helping me to re-build me to a better, stronger person.

Be prepared for long grey wet days. We get the odd dumping of snow but it doesn't usually last more than a week if that. It all turns into a messy slush after a day or two. Only bonus is you don't need to shovel rain. Get yourself a good umbrella. Did I mention it's wet?
