Sorry to bring up this old thread, But what was the reason that it's not a write-off? Chassis wasn't bent? You would think that almost head on collision will be a written-off won't it??

Chassis wasn't bent. After the accident I called NRMA and told them I'd like the car to be repaired by North Shore Collision. They didn't say that the car was going to be written off. I didn't ask them either.
Took three months cos we were waiting for some parts to be delivered by a local vendor!
