HELP. Please. Stud stuck on engine head. during turbo install

Those threads aren't looking too hot in the head from what I can see. Make sure you address that or when you try to tighten the manifold down its just going to pull the stud out of the head.

I was gonna run a 7mm TAP through it and see what happens you think i might need to helicoil or time-sert it?

I cant tell unless I really looked at it up close, Just depends on how damaged they became when removing that stud

run a thread cleaner through it first before taping it, that might do the trick

Got our industrial torch. heated the shit out of the stud till it got red hot. waited 3-4 seconds until redness went away. vise grip broke it loose and after a couple turns it came out with my fingers!
