I am very excited to go and therefore would probably go in June. But i have a few things to do re preparing the car, so may even get delayed until July. It would be great to go with another member.

I am looking to go to the GT open pit lane day (5km lap). Around £160 at the mo on 23rd June. I know its not recommended on your first track day but i can not resist.

Drive around here a lot, our wind tunnel is close by. Wide open, lots of high speed corners and long straights. You cant go wrong.

Yeah we should arrange something on here if anyone else is up for it.

I think if you don't go fully crazy then tyres and brakes should be ok.

I think the club msv and javelin trackdays are the ones to go for, heard good things. Also the GT track is the best one.

Really want to go in June. Its about £150 for a full day open pit. Fuel would be around £100-150, maybe more not sure.

Hmm, quickly adds up then! I suppose the insurance is optional? I don't know if they offer reduced packages, but personally I would prefer an hour or two, rather than a full day. I've never done a "full" track day before and am concerned on the wear on my car, I can't afford new tyres, brakes, etc. Still definitely up for this in some form anyway.

Yes insurance is optional but covers your car in the event of a crash! Which isnt likely tbh.

I also haven't done a track day before but Bedford don't do reduced days AFAIK. But it's probably one of the safest tracks in the UK with large run offs everywhere!

I want to go in June and will do, but that all depends on how much tread i have left by then!

Thanks Mo. I've got some expensive mods coming in May, but should be good again by the time June arrives. Would be great if a little group of us could go, is anyone else interested?

I did the Snetterton 300 in mine recently as my trackcar wasn't ready, I just tried to get in space on my own as I didn't want risk of getting to close to other cars. The standard suspension/seatbelt/seat combination was interesting though.
