Sick Build for sure, Looking forward to seeing it evolve!!
I love how people see a bagged car thats dumped and IMMEDIATLY assume that its static and the suspension stays like that forever. And then they realize that its bagged and immediatly assume that it now handles like complete crap! PEOPLE AIRRIDE DOESNT F' THE HANDLING UP!!!!!!!!! Infact it does the inverse. It allows your car to look good when it needs to and handle well when it needs to. Need proof????? check out Airlifts bagged 550hp STI that managed to qualify for UTCC. How many of you guys qualified for that????? then check out some of the other videos they have, Bagged GT500s?? Surely they wouldnt track a car with crappy suspension |

I know the fitment and the drop might be a little over the top for some of you guys, but it's what I personally happen to like.
xzibit, thanks for posting up that video. Pretty neat. I've had the chance to ride in that STI a few times, not a slow car by any means I snagged a shot of my car with the 275/35/18s on the rear, the new quarter panels / rear bumper are up next. IMG_2689_small_4 by fishmando2, on Flickr |

Oh dear. Did an alien steal your wheels and put your car on blocks from outer space?

Surprised at all the up and down opinions here.
This has to be my favorite shop sponsored car. It combines VIP wheels perfectly on a Euro car that actually still has more than enough get up and go. Love the build. I'll be in touch with Bag Riders here soon enough I'm sure to get something in the works for my new C300. Haha.

I, too, am amused by the debate on bagged cars with aggressive stance. It really seems to raise the hackles of folks that love to modify their cars. I understand that on some cars with redicu-camber, safety is at a premium, but there are also safety compromises with performance tuned cars as well.
Bottom line: to each their own. Personally, I like some of the older chassis BMWs better as a starting point for a stanced project. E28 being a particular favorite. |

Eric, it's true, 'stance' might be more practical on a less refined (and less powerful) platform, but when I had this car cranked down on coilovers it was was really difficult to get around. For me, with the amount the car gets driven (a lot) being really low wasn't going to be an option without having the ability to raise the car up on the fly. Low E28s are indeed awesome! Everyone has a taste, If you disprove with someone's taste doesen't mean you should flame them and cry. I personally wouldn't do it but I think it looks hella clean. OP, Sick car bro, keep it up, loving the stance of your car. Would look amazing with M3 side skirts.

It's like paying for a really expensive HD tv set that has hdmi capabilities only to use standard def with it... why not just save money on the tv in the first place and get a tv with only standard def. This analogy is almost obsolete as almost any tv out now is HD, but I think you get my point. I applaud creativity and originality... I'm just not a huge fan of stupidity |
