It is a gorgeous car mate. You clearly work very hard and we all deserve the odd luxury in life. Enjoy while it lasts... Can you make UK4?

Must be the sticky keyboard slowing him down. His brain can keep up now.

In my experience a sugar laden cup of coffee into a keyboard gives some strange results. You may not loose the ability to "spe proper y ike Car os," But instead get the keys sticking on when you do hammer them free enough to type.

Blimey I didn't think there would be many DEX Vax left running.

Having said that I was taken back a few years at a customers the other day.
They had a fully functioning MicroVAX and a PDP 11/23 - or maybe it was an 11/73.

Ah those were the days...when people wrote code in assembler and not this crappy visual bloatware...

LOL

I spent a summer during my University years writing code because they were about to chuck a Vax in the skip and needed replacement stuff for their PCs.

Ah yes, I remember those PDP machines from way back. I hated VMS with a passion- it was far clunkier than almost anything else.

When the VAX vacuum cleaners were launched, we quickly realised "Nothing sucks like a VAX"

When you need an 'l', try typing the ALT-0108 combination.

One of my first programming homework assignments at university was on an LSI-11. The school's computer was a PDP 11/70. I was rather fond of them, with their RSX-11M operating system.

I kinda thought you were a 'he' - but it was Carl (dxb335d) that suggested you were a 'she' and from that point it made me wonder!

Glad you have cleared this up... it could have got a bit embarrassing.

Are any of the members on here females?

Probably not considering the amount of sexist banter we all go over at times
