Just a heads up if you have the tools and know how....remove your engine cover off before arriving at the shop. You will be doing Paul/Andy and everyone else waiting to jump on the dyno, a huge favour. Of course this involves also removing the cabin filter cowl. Here the 'how to' linky> http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=658985 This expedites the dyno runs so people don't wait until your engine cover/cowl are removed. It also helps the motor cool down.

Wasn't able to install my intake wanted to see if I will gain 2 or 5 HP lol. I will just bring it tomorrow will see if I can install it quick. Does anyone know how long will it take to remove the stock air box and install the intake (Injen N55)?

I'll start and hopefully others will follow.
Caveat: GIAC FLASH / full bolt on / 94. BLUE graph = July 2012 RED graph = May 2013 Although I received an 'updated' flash a few months ago from GIAC, it yielded a few more ponies and trq was essentially the same as last year. Thomas suggested it was a significant upgrade, I'll have a chat with him about the results. On the road: I'm extremely happy with the performance especially for an everyday ride. On the track: a torque monster! If not respected it can let the car get away from you. Overall: a perfect balance! |
