Clearly you didn't even watch the videos, so I don't know why you felt the need to jump on this bandwagon.

Everything is installed correctly and the settings were right for the integrated unit - exactly as shipped. BMS admits this is not right for the 335is. I have since cut the doides and uploaded the 18.HEX to run the correct maps for 335is.

False advertising? Yes. They should not be selling the integrated unit for the 335is. The settings are wrong. The AFR values are not ZERO. And, prolonged running on either MAP1 or MAP5 could do serious damage to the vehicle.

Lastly, I do have a $15.00 USB cable for my $70,000.00 car. And, it's a good thing I do. Otherwise, I might be sitting in the service bay at BMW.

And that, my friends, is why I'm a little more than pissed.
Why is running on map 1 or 5 on a 335is with the wrong settings (low boost with rich air/fuel ratios) going to do any damage to your vehicle other than slowing it down? In the video your speedo was not moving, were you still in command mode? It runs factory boost levels in command mode. Most importantly are you any closer to resolving your issues so you can delete that false video?

This thread is epic, I like the comment and agree. If I'm spending 70k on a car, I'd just go with the M3 or Dinan upgrade.

He did get out of command mod in map 1 as you can see that his tach drop from 1k to about 600rpm. Yet his speedo isn't working while his tach was, during the run. Something is definitely not right... w/ install or a bad unit? \

Other than that, the vid wasn't all the helpful.

Because, everyone knows a stock 335is will smoke a stock M3 off the line.

335is: 320hp/370tq @ 4000lbs.
M3: 414hp/295tq @ 4200lbs.

And then, compare convertible prices. They are NOT the same.
The M3 that I spec'd came in at $90K with tax & delivery.

What FALSE VIDEO??? That's why I posted it...

Me: Hi, Mike. I have a 2013 BMW 335is. I want to upgrade it with a JB4.
You: Okay. Buy our JB4-G5 unit. It's PnP. You'll be amazed by the increase!

Me: Should I do Integrated or ISO. I hear ISO is still in BETA.
You: Yes, ISO is still in BETA. I'd install the Integrated. You'll be amazed by the increase!

Me: Do I need to do anything? There is all this talk about cutting diodes, etc.
You: Nope. There's only one for N54. Just install and go. You'll be amazed by the increase!

Me: Okay. I'll give it a try over the Dinan. 100hp for $500. Payment sent. JB4-G5 received.
You: Congrats. You'll be amazed by the increase!

Me: I installed the unit. But, it doesn't seem any faster. Did you send me the right one for 335is?
You: Yep. It's integrated. It does everything. Try MAP5 instead.

Me: Okay, I did several WOT. Still doesn't feel faster. Feels slower actually.
You: Hmp. That's funny. Try uploading 18.hex and/or changing all AFR to ZERO

Me: I'm not running ISO. You sent me Integrated. Why is it not faster?
You: I don't know. It should be. Can you send me logs or video or something?

Me: Okay. Here you go. "FALSE VIDEO" posted. Awaiting your reply...

Got involved with E85 because the 100 octane station is a 40 mile round trip over to Cary from Raleigh.
Did you ever try running avgas? It looks as though you have access to an airport. lol... I guess compared to E85 the price doesn't make sense any more, but I remember a lot of guys used to run it in the early/mid 2,000's.

Its not really suitable for cars, has the octane, but the formulation is not correct its leaded Its also vapor resistant & could be a bitch to start when its cold.

Let's not get all caught up in details. lol... I do remember a lot of guys that were running it would only get about 5000 miles on a set of O2 sensors, but the Denso sensors held up a while longer. I hear it's not good for the cats either, but I didn't know anyone at the time that was actually running any.

If there was something I needed in order to make this thing work on MY particular vehicle (ie modifying the box, cutting doides, flashing the ISO, removing the melted enclosure, etc.) then they (BMS) should have told me that when I ordered the product.

As it stands right now, it is false advertising.
I understand where you are coming from, I was there too when I first got the JB4 G5. I was having ton of misfires and reduced power modes, and I still do. I was getting pretty frustrated as this is supposed to be plug and play right? but JB4 has evolved so much now that you have to read a ton on the n54tech website to understand how the system works but I didnt have all the time. I wanted plug and play just like you without problems yet I had many issues, However I just stuck with it, changed my spark plugs, and updated to G5 iso 18 and here is my dyno only 3 days after install. Stick with Terry and you will get things sorted out.

I ran it in my 67 BB Stingray on Englishtown weekends Those engines were the opposite of what we have now & needed lead to lube the valve seats. The octane did not hurt either.

Any time I've had an issue (due to my being dumb, not the product) Terry has been 100% reliable. Most of the time I've emailed him I've had a response in <30 mins.

Yes, that is true, however there are days where he is either busy and took long to get response but he has always responded

Thats true, but the bigger issue is the conversation he posted alluding to involve me never actually happened with me or anybody I know off, which is why I posted. Probably just an imaginary conversation he had.
