Great looking car. You also seem to be quite the photographer
The blacklines go really well with the silver. On the RFT issue. I hate driving over cat's eyes as it feels like you just drove over a concrete block

I was told that the 335i/d SE had sport supspension but that the M Sport variants has 'M Sport' supsension - which is a bit more extreme.
Dont know how different they really are though. May just have been a sales pitch to make you think you are getting more when you opt for the M Sport model.

FWIW, I was running an 2007MY E60 on sports suspension (17" wheels/RFTs) and have changed to a 2007MY E60 M-Sport (18" wheels/RFTs) whilst I am waiting for my 330d E92 to arrive.
I find the M-Sport car to rise slightly better AND handle better, despite having a heavier engine in the nose! Weird, but perhaps the same ca be said of the E9x models? |

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/ For the e90 if you look at this page you will see that the spring struts (whatever the hell they are) are different in each case: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...94&hg=31&fg=10 The situation with the e92 is less clear. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...66&hg=31&fg=10 realoem lists parts for standard and sports, but not msport. I think this is a mistake on their part. This is because non-msport model e92's have SPORTS suspension as standard and 'MSPORT' suspension as a £270 upgrade option: http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/pricesand...0spv-O,00.html This is now also the case for e90's, but not for pre 08 model year cars: http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/pricesand...0spv-O,00.html So in summary ... E90's used to have 3 options - SE, sport and msport, which are all different. Now it's just SE and msport. E92's have sport suspension components as standard (also the case with e46 coupes), and can also upgrade to msport. All clear? |

So are you saying a standard E90 SE would be softer than a standard E92 SE ?

Cheers. I am
Photos were taken with a Canon 20D and a Canon 24-70f2.8L lens. Actually borrowed from my father to see if it's any good before I buy.

I am not 100% sure about the 08 model year e90 SE. I'm pretty sure that BMW have simply dropped the 'sports' option for e90 rather than included it as a 'base', but I cannot say so for certain. |
