I got a call from my sales person last night. Not that he told me anything I didn't already know, but he said my car will be here at the end of the month and should be good to pick up first week in Oct. Its been such a long wait I can't imagine how i'll feel when i actually pick it up.

Oh I'm gonna bitch and moan till they throw in at least the mats. I also will probably get a car cover and maybe the protective rear cover for those days I have to take my english bulldog with me places.

i am on toronto too. supposedly sept 24th the boat will unload my car in halifax. very nice.

it cannot be tracked by any methods I have. It did depart England on time a couple days ago, so it must be on the Atlantic right now.

After it reaches port the cars get loaded up and sent to a vpc(vehicle preparation center) for final inspections then off to the dealerships for pick up.

i was really crossing my fingers on a 25th landing. would anyone be able to guesstimate from the 27th how long it would take to get to my dealer? Halifax is only a 15h drive by car

i don't know how they can prolong that to a week for transport.

The 27th is the date its suppose to reach NY/NJ area. It should reach Halifax on the 25th as scheduled unless something drastic comes up. Once it reaches port I'd say give it 2 days at the vpc then another 2 for delivery to your dealership... so a week at most from day it reaches port hopefully.
