Ya all exhaust sound very nice. The game changes tho once you start deleting resonators and cats.

Ya for sure, as long as you have a resonator / x pipe with 1 cat in there it should deadened the sound enough so you shouldnt get a much noticeable raspy. Esp up top.

I remember when I deleted my 2ndary cat and resonator I had to end up putting a H pipe in the car because near redline the car got a tiny bit raspy. But it was enough for me to notice.

With the Eisenmann SR pipes, does that basically delete the secondary cats and resonator? If you just did resonator and secondary cat delete, doesn't it just equal the SR pipes?

Mad props to your determination. I'm getting RD race exhaust(section 3 only), and thinking about RR DPs, so I'll end up with catless DP, with secondary cat and resonator still on. If everything goes according to plan I'll let you know how it goes.

I have no cats and no resonators. Just straight piped to the mufflers.

The full eisenmann is x pipe with delete 2ndary cat and resonator. Sounds very good. But when you delete that cat from the DP, the shit hits the fan.

Thanks man. If I can get a hold of a stock exhaust im going to try that also.

Tomorrow tho ill try the resonators and see how that goes. It should help a little i would assume. Depends on how many i put on it. Lol

Thanks for being honest and posting this up. My suggestion to you would be to go with some catted downpipes or if they are catless then try to look for ones that are resonated to elimate the rasp (I don't think anything like this is on the market now, but I think that you went custom already). Its funny reading this because when people first started talking about catless downpipes the first thing that I said was that it might make the car sound very raspy, but everyone said no. In any case I hope that you get your exhaust to sound the way you like. I would just put in some catted downpipes and keep the eisenmann.

Lol dont worry about it. I honest with what i do with my car and if I can help someone with info all the better.

If anything ill try putting a couple resonators on it and see if that helps. If it doesnt then ill x pipe and resonator it. Ill just have to try a few options until it works out well.

I dont wanna mess up my flow since im tuned for having no cats.

I'm a big fan of stock exhaust with catted DPs. A little whistle down low but that's about it.

Lmao. The esienmann actually sounds like a messed up M3. Sorry to hear. What pisses me off, is that members put all this money on crapy exhuast and no one bothers with SUPERSPRINT. I havent heard anyone with a SS setup. I dont get you guys

I wish I had enough money to buy the SUPERSPRINT quad exhuast on my 335i.

You actually have a point regarding SS. Because for the amount of $$ he spent he could've bought those rediculously pricey SS metallic racing cats. I'm not saying they're worth the price, not a bit, I'm just saying that could've been the safest route to go.

Yup I know what your talking about. Im not sure if its worth the power potential here. Even tho this car isnt my daily driver, I still dont want it to sound like ass.

If the resonators dont help im going to reinstall the Dp's. Either that or relocate high flow ones down the piping.
